Reactions was such a popular feature for XenForo as an add-on, that they integrated them into the standard vanilla version of the software. They'll likely make a return.
How big we talkin'?
Can you show me exactly what you mean by this "blue line"? A screenshot would work best.
We're...
Hey there all! We're still rolling out a few more fixes today - the collapse sidebar should be good to go now - next up is still the outstanding issue with the stickies. Hang tight!
The default theme is the light one, default AnandTech. Any update has to start with this, and then proceed from there. Should be situated on the dark theme front now. :)
It will be restored - we're running updates and fixes based on the recent feedback.

We're definitely not getting rid of dark theme - it's a big favorite. Hold tight, updates are rolling out and we're hoping to have things fixed...
Hey there all!
We're running some updates to the forum software this evening in an effort to fix a handful of the outstanding issues that have been reported. If you spot any glitches or problems during this maintenance window, please bear with for the moment. There may be some outstanding...
Thanks for the heads-up on the footer issue.
Of note, these changes are to improve the security and stability of the forum platform - not for funsies or the sake of change.
Any other issues?
Micro-tweaks to minor thematic elements don't quite rise to the level of exhaustive offline alpha and beta testing. I would encourage all users to muster the sum of your patience in experiencing the temporary inconvenience of a slightly changed display here in the forums for a day or so...
Actually, I went ahead and did a few changes myself - width fixed, fluid/dynamic set to fixed, columns collapsed only at medium+small size. Dark theme should also reflect the same. That should tend to those.
The email notifications in gigantic sizes - that's unexpected. Can you show me what...
Ah, a set of easy fixes. Some of the previous forum template items that had been addressed earlier were reverted in the big update to the latest version of the software. Easy enough to take a whack at. Will prioritize for tomorrow morning with dev - looks like a few minor tweaks to the width...

Thanks so...
There's a few more things we're going to try. We've been working on hunting down the root cause for this for some time - and we thought we had it, but, no.
Please bear with us.
Is there any way to get a screenshot of the ad itself that seems to be causing this problem?
The Community team is always happy to forward these along for a fix, but a lot of times it's like looking for a needle in a haystack - based on where you're situated, what browser you're using, and what...
Phase 0, Phase 1, and Phase 1.5 have been rolled out. I don't expect too much more in the way of gargantuan changes to the theme or feature-set.
Article Management System (part of 1.5) is the one part that is still pending release - but shouldn't be too disruptive on the themes end of things at...
Thread activity is base thread count per day. There was an initial spike well over +200%, but that was due to problematic spam filtering. Fortunately, we've managed to catch up on that front and now the lion's share of spam is being halted at the source.
Tentatively, I'm going to lay the blame...
Users don't have access to these stats, but I'm happy to share a few metrics.
• Thread activity increased by +91.6%.
• Thread Responses and Sessions are steady ~5% variance
• New user registration is up by +62%.
Page load time increased a bit, but that's something we're looking into addressing...
How do you know that it is an ad? Any additional information beyond what you've provided could be super useful in helping us track this down. What was the ad presenting? What page did it happen on?
It's happening for me as well. It happens when you resize the window. Will bug this up for a fix.
As for themes, AnandTech standard and Dark should be available at current. We can add additional themes (as recommended) fairly easily, but are working to get all the add-ons in place that need to...
Hey there all!
We've upgrade the forums!
• A Question and Answer style option that will now serve as the default setting in any tech-support related areas of the forum. You can still specify a new thread as a discussion, but most threads posted in tech areas will be inquiries on fixes that...
Do please do your best to keep it to actual tangibles, as opposed to obscure abstractions. As hilarious as some of these are. :P
For those keeping track who might want to buy their resident Community Director something nice...
The Limitless Build on PCPartPicker would make a nice stocking...
We've had to expire the cookies, so you'll have to log back in. We're still working on seeing if what we've done on this subject has addressed the problem.
You could also terminal into the BBS and engage at the command line in full ASCII glory... /sass
Seriously though - there's a significant number of improvements to the standard baseline theme in operation here. A lot of it is workflow for new users, mobile-friendly presentation, and quality of...
Of note, this is only Phase 0 of the upgrades planned. Phase 1 and Phase 1.5 will contain a more robust reputation system that will doubtless replace that green bar you see now listing Likes breakdowns.
Thanks for the heads-up. We've bumped into a few issues with ads since the forum platform upgrade, and are working with the AdOps team to get them resolved. I very much appreciate the detailed report you've provided, as it'll help narrow down the problem.

Thanks! Glad you like it!
There's still a few nicks and scrapes, and some continuing chronic issues with caching, but the team is working hard on getting those resolved.

This is an issue that appears to be occurring periodically for some users. We believe it has to do with caching. Our DevOps team is investigating and hoping to resolve the problem.
