I've kept my VII's mining the whole time. I was barely above breaking even at the lowest point, but at my rate of around 8 cents/kWh and with the cards tuned for efficiency it's never made sense to power them down since the Radeon VII launched.

Yes, the stock voltage for this card (from Gigabyte) was 1092 mV. I can't quite run it at the stock 1801 MHz at an even 1 volt - needs to be just a touch higher. But I'm happy running it at 1950 MHz and 1081 mV.

Mine wouldn't do -100 mV at stock clocks, but it does -85 stably. Since I have it on water though, I prefer to do a smaller undervolt combined with an overclock to both the core and memory.

Don't worry about hurting anything by undervolting too much. Worst case if you set it too low, you just get a crash and it automatically resets to default on reboot. Then just try again without going quite as low.
