    That is a positive/negative scale, otherwise known as a karma scale. It compares the number of positive reactions you have to negative reactions.

    If you go into 'Search Forums' there's a tab labeled 'Search Threads and Posts' and you can dial in using keywords and a username.

    When you hit the Search Bar, in the drop down menu there is a 'More' button, and that's the Advanced Search option. Try searching using the 'Search Threads and Posts' Tab.

    Can you provide a screenshot of the notice you're seeing? We had one for the forums, but I disabled it yesterday morning to test it. By your edit, I'm thinking it might be a different notice from the one I've been accessing.

    Yes, the initial set up for Android does require a laptop but once you have the logging program up and running it would be automatically configured to record logs while browsing on your phone.

    Ugh, I had that same problem awhile ago registering on the staging forum. Remove the 2 from that URL, and it should work. REPEAT: If you obtain a registration/password reset email and the URL leads to staging2-forums.anandtech.com, it should be staging-forums.anandtech.com
