I think it might be a power supply issue. Sometimes your computer is running and it is supplying enough power to power everything. Sometimes it doesn't provide enough power and some of your devices can't run properly. Taking out a hard drive helped because that's one less thing to power. I don't...

Athlon steppings

I've been trying to search AMD's site for info on 100 FSB processors. Does anyone have a list of which steppings are 100FSB and which are 133FSB? Or if you have a link to a page that has such a list, that would be much appreciated also.

Question about memory and Intel 430TX chipset...

I don't think the TX chipset supports more than 256MB of SDRAM. The highest stick it can take is 128MB (2 sticks = 256MB) of low-density SDRAM. When you have more than 64MB in the board, the TX chipset may actually decrease performance because it can only cache 64MB of memory.

My other PC Refuses to boot, no beep on startup.

My guess would be you have a power supply that is barely able to supply power for all the stuff in your system. Also, some video cards have been known to be uncooperative with some boards because the board doesn't supply enough power to the AGP slot. It would be helpful if you listed your system...

Can't get Abit BP6 to recognize WD 100 gig drive

Run regedit. Look for this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Most of your startup programs will be in there or in this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices Just delete the key to remove it from startup.

NTKERN is a Win NT/2K system file. Try booting up with a 98SE boot disk and type "sys a: c:". That should replace the system files with 98SE files.

Tv Out Help needed

If you go into display properties, click on the settings tab, and click on advanced, is there a section anywhere for enabling TV out? I know on the ATI video cards, you need to enable TV out first before you can actually use it.

Need Video driver for HP pavilion 6630
