Cinematic battles are one of the great things about the Total War Warhammer games.

If you have never watched one of these, and you like LoTR type of battes, you are in for a treat.

BTW Total War games have never been on consoles, so we have the only truly exclusive titles.

I mostly gave up on MP and co-op gaming ages ago. If I want to be verbally abused I can sit alone with my thoughts. That said, my son and I have co-oped the crap out of the first 2 installments and most of the expansions. He has 3 but I have not bought it yet. Heck, I am going back to campaign in the first one because my son says it is so different than when I played it back in the AMD FX days.

And yeah, the combat animations are brilliant.

I've only ever played it single player and I only play the immortal empires campaigns.

TBH buying it from scratch is pretty expensive now if you want all the DLC. They really should do an ultimate edition that has everything for a reasonable price.

I don't know about 3, but with the other 2, most of the DLC would be on sale during the big events like summer and winter sales. I remember getting some for free. The first game was bundled with an FX 8350 I bought. Took forever for it to drop below $60 so that was serious value added. Made the FX effectively like $90 or something. Played that game great too.

Those prices are serial business at the moment. Between sales and freebies, I had maybe $20 in the entire OG Warhammer DLC. Beastmen I never bought. It's always been that price going way back.

They are ridiculous prices for DLC that's, in some cases, nearly 10 years old!
They should round up the old ones and do them in one pack for a tenner.
