Hi. Thanks @Skillz for directing me to post this here:

We're having our second annual Folding@Home Challenge at EXTREMEHW and TAAT is invited.

We have some sponsored prizes from vendors, as well as some in-house goodies. Similar to last year, the top 3 folders will get first choice prize picks and the rest of the prizes will be random draw.

Remember, register at EHW and post in the contest thread. Also during the challenge you need to be running 239902 as your team ID (afterwards change back to TAAT).

Hope to see you all again for some crunching fun.

I'm in. Username Mark_F_Williams
I know there was a misunderstanding of the rules, that during the 4 days you got to fold with team 239902, as well as register at EHW and post in our thread. Luckily you don't actually have to change all your clients over if you don't want to do that. The minimum is just one piece of hardware and to be eligible for the random draw prizes the minimum WUs to be completed is 10, which is very easy for most people. You can set flags to temporarily fold on separate teams in the advanced client.

user (name)

passkey (key)

team (number)

These are useful if you have a machine running several folding slots and want to split them up between different user IDs and even different teams. If anyone needs screenshots or a quick video I can do that, but I think you'll see setting flags is pretty easy.

So yeah we'd still love to have you join us, even if you can only spare one piece of hardware. The purpose of our annual competitions is to promote our site and build some inter-forum relations for future events, as well as promote folding@home in general. We worked hard getting vendors to donate prizes, and we also put up in-house prizes at our own expense, so that's why require to use our team number during the contest.

yes let me make a screenshot to show you

Be sure to SAVE, then give it a few seconds while it says SAVING, then open it back up and verify that it took your flag.

OK, I have this 3070TI set to team 239902 in the slot options, even though the main shows 198. Lets see what happens in 3 hours. I don't think 5 out of 165 mil will make any difference to Team Anandtech
