New Rimworld DLC just teased

As usual, Tynan doesn't say much until the DLC is basically ready to go and I think the longest we had to wait for previous DLCs from announcement to playing was two weeks. This is all we've gotten so far but I'm sure we'll know more in the coming weeks.

Not that interested as Rimworld kinda died for me 2-3 years ago. I tried again briefly and its still fun but spending more money on it isn't appealing. Biotech looks neat but $25 for a game I've barely played in 3 years isn't worth it. I will be interested to see what they want price wise though.

Just a heads up, you might want to backup your Steam folder and especially mods before the release given past history. The new patch will be 1.5 and its already on the beta testing phase in Steam apparently. The Rimworld mods folder in Steam is "294100".

Edit: Once the 1.5 patch comes out, if you want to stay on 1.4, you go into the beta tab and tell Steam to load 1.4 only. Just backup your Mods folder before patch then copy/paste the backup 1.4 mods folder back into the Steam folder so your mods don't update. I'm guessing it will be like normal, chaos and many mods wont work, won't get updated or just take time to update to 1.5.
