Question Tech novice seeking help. Best SSD for a laptop?

Hi,
I need help choosing a new NVMe SSD for my laptop. I currently have a Legion 5 Pro with a Ryzen 5800h, so I'm limited to a PCIe 3.0 interface, but it seems more sensible to buy a PCIe 4.0 drive in case I change laptops in the future.

From what I've found, the SK Hynix Gold P31 was a good choice for PCIe 3.0 drives for laptops due to its low power consumption and low temperatures during operation. However, for its successor (SK Hynix Platinum P41), I've found mixed reviews. I'm not too knowledgeable about current SSDs, so I'm asking for help. I care about the drive performing well in the laptop, which probably means low power consumption and low temperatures during operation. From what I've read, it might also be worthwhile for the drive to have DRAM memory.

I use WD primarily. Right now I'm running SN850 which has dram but also run SN770 which doesn't.

They're both fast. The 770 uses the system ram as needed which means it could be faster in multithread transfers.
