Moscow Marge has a nice ring to it. But what I'd really like to know is if Papa Putin thinks she's one hot steam'in steatopygia pack'in babushka or not.
They also added a tik tok ban if tik tok doesn't get sold to a US company with in a year.So let me get this straight. The House basically approved the same Ukraine and Israel aid package that Biden and Dems had proposed before…but without any meaningful border security package attached?
Just so we’re clear—House Republicans negotiated a worse deal for themselves with no fixes to border asylum thanks to Marge and Trump…and Fox News isn’t trying to cover that part up and is actively telling their audience what happened??
Shart of the deal.
While this may be on the Moscow fraction of your government I cant help but think 99% of the R party is secretly relieved - it's not only Trump that keeps the issue open to scream about to braindead constituents.Just so we’re clear—House Republicans negotiated a worse deal for themselves with no fixes to border asylum
That’s fine with many Democrats IMO.They also added a tik tok ban if tik tok doesn't get sold to a US company with in a year.
I don’t agree with banning Tik Tok specifically. What we need is real data privacy protections that apply to all companies. The Tik Tok ban is just a distraction from doing what really needs to be done. That’s fine with many Democrats IMO.
Certainly fine with me.
Again classic Repugican projection. Calling the left traitors but yet they’re the ones siding with RussiaSo Moscow Marge is taking the heat for her pro-Russian ploys, that's fine. But what about those Republican voters back home that gave her the opportunity to show her true white, blue and red colors? Aren't they also Russian sympathizers for the fact that they're supporting her efforts to sabotage our support for the Ukrainians? I mean, they are all directly complicit with her efforts to back Trump's pro-Putin agenda so they should also bear the stigma and stench that her behavior evokes.
I agree, but protecting our privacy has nothing to do with the real reason they want tik tok banned or sold to a US company. Their reasoning of national security is also bullshit. If that was factual, then why have they not done anything about all the China investments in companies that are directly tied to our economy and infrustructer, such as our food supply, energy (oil, natural gas, etc), utilities (water supply), real estate, finanical systems, transportation, etc. Basically every aspect that is the heart of this country for it's economy and are essential to our survival. All with the blessing of our government.I don’t agree with banning Tik Tok specifically. What we need is real data privacy protections that apply to all companies. The Tik Tok ban is just a distraction from doing what really needs to be done.
I don’t care how brain dead the voters left in the Republican Party really are—at some point they’ll come to realize the GOP is Lucy and immigration is their political football. They don’t give 2 shits about a TikTok ban. While this may be on the Moscow fraction of your government I cant help but think 99% of the R party is secretly relieved - it's not only Trump that keeps the issue open to scream about to braindead constituents.
That’s fine, I agree however it is a step in the right direction.I don’t agree with banning Tik Tok specifically. What we need is real data privacy protections that apply to all companies. The Tik Tok ban is just a distraction from doing what really needs to be done.
Oh look someone is falling for the propaganda bullshit from the governement. Non of which there is any evidence of actually taking place. US tik tok is also run on Oracle Cloud services (A US company). regardless, Anything and everything tik tok can access, and more, is already collected by every carrier, facebook, etc, and sold to anyone and everyone. As for tik tok, most of the claimed accusations, requires permission to access. If poeple are dumb enough to give any application such permission, that's on them. Most modern devices have proticals in place to protect from such misuse, not to mention some of the accusations, would require root access, which is nearly impossible for an application to get without the owner first jailbreaking their device to gain root control. Which is extremely difficult now days. That’s fine, I agree however it is a step in the right direction.
Unless its policy has changed Tic Tok wants an unreasonable amount of access to your device and it all dials back to China. This certainly has potential to be a huge security risk.

We see what happens with a generic capitalistic algorithms in terms of controlling peoples minds when it comes to social media. Facebook is banned in China right? Twitter is banned in China. I dont get why you'd want a state sponsored near peer adversary to 1. data mine your citizens and 2. put them on an -to China- advantageous algorithm. Take YG and raild' for example, worst case is they're actual US citizens and they've simply been scooped up by propaganda.I don’t agree with banning Tik Tok specifically. What we need is real data privacy protections that apply to all companies. The Tik Tok ban is just a distraction from doing what really needs to be done.
Who controls the feed algorithm?Oh look someone is falling for the propaganda bullshit from the governement. Non of which there is any evidence of actually taking place. ByteDance. There is no evidence that it's controlled by the Chinese government.Who controls the feed algorithm?
