I was quite floored when my country 's national tv station news reported about AMDs production of chips in TSMC US fabs. Tariffs and all... Like that has never happened.
I like what I see in strix halo. Medusa will be my next purchase. I hope to find nice 16" lappie with 90 to 120 Hz VRR OLED and 128 gigs when it comes out. $2k plus tax no problem

What a disappointment. Once again AMD snatches defeated from jaws of victory.
You can't win if you don't show up.
Great arch, poor execution . Where's halo AMD? You made strix halo, why not rdna halo?

P. S. I had to, sorry guys
Can someone joggle my memory, where have we info about exec. resources?
Usually when AMD widened core, it came with substantial "ipc" improvements. This core baffles me. We got good but not "AMD good" "ipc" uptick and what it seems great reduction in power(laptop oems are all over strix).
I do...
Depends what you call process leadership. Intel of yore had both superior process and huge volume. I will gladly say that Intel has leadership when they can match TSMC volume. Until then it's basically a power point victory.
Now, you have to start from somewhere...
I hate to be that guy, but it has to be said.
What do Meteor Lake and Phoenix have with Zen5? We have appropriate threads for those topics.
Sorry for being tightass.
If these diagrams are true, then there is new IO die also for Turin since there is support for cxl2.0 and 6000MT DDR5. CCD in standard Turin are losing some bandwidth. Turin dense CCD are using some dual ring setup so L3 latency is going up but for cloud it should not matter much.
