Trump was told by his own Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, that Iran wasn’t building a nuclear weapon.

His response?

“I don’t care what she said. I think they were very close to having one.”

He doesn’t want proper intelligence. He wants war.

We’ve seen this movie before. Pretty soon MAGAs will start to love Dick Cheney again.

Since his parade sucked, he thinks he's getting another parade out of this. And if this "adventure" goes sideways Trump never heard of Iran or Bibi and "it wasn't my fault".

state of the art mines are just torpedoes with pre programmed modes and active remote control that lets the operator decide when to start looking for targets and which audio signature to target. passive mines are more or less frowned upon by the west as they could damage civilian ships.

When the war started Iran was thought to possess roughly 2000 missiles with range sufficient to reach Israel. Do I think the Israelis have stockpiled enough Arrow and David's Sling interceptors to handle all that? I do not. Easily like 5-6B worth of missiles that would take many years to accumulate. Which is why they are also getting help in the form of our THAAD and SM-6 magazines to assist in interception. The idea surely was that once they get air superiority they can hunt down the Iranian launchers and also damage the Iranian missile magazines so as to make transloading difficult, reducing their rate of fire and consequently the burn rate of interceptors.
