idk... I could easily believe that it is true. The plans for the complex was leaked some time ago. Iran knew that the plans was leaked and they knew the capability of the American bunker busters. Why wouldn't they dig deeper?

Seems these are supposed to be significantly more effective than even those things (intended to hit submarine pens and the like) were - better at penetrating concrete, apparently. Given the last 25 years of the world, I'm sure this thought has gone through many countries' minds. Countries with nuclear weapons don't get invaded (ie, Pakistan, North Korea) whereas those without could face invasion (ie, Georgia, Ukraine, Iraq)
