He created the situation alright, but not intentionally. Through incompetence, cruelty, and diplomatic success internationally.

-There is a definite co-dependency between extremists of all flavors, they all need each other to justify their own existence.

Here in the US, the political left points to the most extreme members of the political right, and vice versa, to advance their own aims, when in reality most people are somewhere inbetween and far more moderate.

The Netanyahu government has been courting extremist, right wing, anti-semetic governments around the world because anti-Semitism elsewhere is good for the far right Israeli narrative at home of Israeli Jews vs the World.

I don't think this is intentional as in "inside job" but I think this is intentional because without Hamas how does the Israeli right wing justify their power, and without Israeli settler extremists, Hamas cannot do the same.

I worry though that the world is tired. This is a problem made by people four generations removed and no one can or wants to solve it or have it solved. That leaves a lot of room for bad actors to come in a remold the narrative as they see fit.

I have nothing to back this up but I think the reason the US didn't have a clue is this kind of information is the type players in that region would share with us. I suspect they share less often because they were burned by the previous administration. Big mouth Trump spilling the intel beans with Russia and others. Also him stealing classified documents. Well, for now, publicly. That's "realpolitic" and expected. We'll see how this all shakes out because I get the feeling that MB is almost cruelly pragmatic and will take whatever stance most helps his country. They greatly eroded Israeli democracy and eliminated any real chance of reform toward Palestine.

They played right into the hands of Israel's sadistically evil prime minister, who will use this to light the fire of hatred and inflict far greater suffering and abuse to all Palestinian people for decades to come. They cemented his power and the destruction of the judicial branch in Israel, permanently harming democracy and any real chance of change of the Palestinian situation. They hunted down and murdered the "love and peace" festival rave with its European attendance. The shock waves just off of that will end many support among former sympathizers. Friends coming back with horror stories, others coming back in body bags.

I hope the US intel community is paying attention to International sentiment. Russia has done an amazing job seeding disinformation and hatred in African countries. I have never seen so much Hatred and Anger toward the US than I have seen recently from people in West Africa. Spoke to a West African friend who works for the UN and she told me her West African colleagues/freinds (Educated people) harbored the same sentiments.

No, that's not the definiion of a traitor. In fact I'm sure they went to Israel as Israeli's with dual Nationality.
