More countries need to open cases against Israel. Otherwise there is a very good chance that these few countries will get ravaged by political upheavals in the future for going against Israel.

Israel will just ignore the rulings, just like Russia has, but it might stop some officials from travelling to certain countries

Some statistics for those of you that think this started on Oct 7th

- Good, absolutely insane to me that they would prioritize punitive action against Gazans before making sure their own people were safe.

If I was Israeli and my family was held hostage in Gaza I would be screaming bloody murder to get them back ASAP. More likely to be killed by an errant airstrike than by their hostage takers who, you know, actually need their hostages alive.

The fact that some hostages either have or might have been killed by the Israeli military should be all rights be the absolute end of the Netanyahu government, but we do live in strange times.

Details: The officials said Israel proposed the overall period of pause for the completion of the release of all hostages in the different phases could reach up to two months.

The Israeli officials said the proposal makes clear Israel will not agree to end the war and will not agree to release all 6,000 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

They admit if the deal is implemented, IDF operations in Gaza would be significantly smaller in scope and intensity after the two month pause in fighting.

24 IDF soldiers killed in one day. Spokesman said possible rocket-propelled grenade fired by Palestinian armed fighters hit a tank near two buildings they were in. He said the buildings probably exploded as a result of mines that Israeli forces had placed there to demolish them.

I dont believe the stated purpose of the mines. Bet they were intended to kill and maim innocent civilians when they return to their destroyed homes and areas they fled from. Likely a stockpile of some mines got hit.

I wonder if the Israeli government has the slightest notion of how a blatant propaganda campaign can backfire spectacularly. For example, that business of the Israeli PM asserting that they found a copy of 'Mein Kampf' belonging to whoever in Gaza. It's obviously bullshit.

But let's assume for a moment that the story is true: What use is it to know that someone in the population of millions is some sort of Nazi? It's a completely worthless piece of information for Israel, it tells them what we all knew already, being that in a population of millions you're going to find at least one bigot. While it makes no sense that a non-white person would be a Nazi, it's not impossible; I've read stories about black Neo-Nazis and even vaguely remember reading somewhere about Jewish Neo-Nazis. Bigots are ignorant, illogical and hateful people. The only way that finding a copy of 'Mein Kampf' is remarkable at a state level would be if they found that all Hamas operatives were given these books and that Nazi ideology plays a part in their strategy. But just like I have no reason to believe that Hamas has anything to do with Nazi-ism, I'd want to see some serious proof that say the state of Israel is run by Neo-Nazis, because the more outlandish the claims are, all the more substantial evidence is needed to justify the claims.

Enough with the hypothetical scenario - the fact that the state of Israel at the highest level is peddling obvious propaganda / fake news in my view fundamentally discredits everything remarkable they have to say in future because they obviously respect truth so little, and since they have no moral qualms about massacring >20k civilians, there's no strategy that's too low for them. They claim that children or pregnant women were killed? After getting some kind of confirmation that those people actually existed and were found dead as described, as far as I'm concerned the first question is "did Israel kill them?".
