I would expect Israel to do something. Perhaps flatten that drone factory. Also to the other poster who has praised Iran for their restraint....
I don't think the purposeful massacre of over 1000 civilians is practicing restraint. Hiding behind a proxy makes Iran only slightly less responsible. Also, Iran is well aware that if it starts an actual conflict it will surely loose, so that certainly plays into their response calculus.

If there are "100's" of drones, I'm a little confused as to why Iraq didn't just start shooting them down, with US help, for violating its airspace.

The United States destroyed Iraq in 2003.
The remaining portions split between ISIS and Iranian proxy.

I think that everyone should be happy, Iran showed that they attacked Israel, it looks like the attack didn't really do any significant harm (which, if I had to guess, was their intension). Israel showed that their defense systems work well, and that they have a strong coalition that will come to their aid when they need help defensively. Hopefully this event is over.

The question is do they have the diplomatic capability ( international, international trade, international defense, partners ) and political capability ( internal, economic interests, current government is extremely unpopular* ).

With less than 40 jets and some of those down for maintenance at any given time yeah their strike capacity is real but is indeed limited. The number of sorties they could manage in a day isn't gong to be a ton. Iraq could also close its airspace during a major conflict.

And what possible good did Israel achieve by blowing up Iran's Embassy, which actually killed people? I'm not a fan of Iran, but this take is irresponsible. Israel is in a posture to drag the US into a regional war with Iran. If Israel attacks Iran directly, what do you think happens next? And I'm hearing some of our elected leaders waving pom poms in support. Have we all lost our collective minds?

The US and other Western allies have been irresponsible in their support of Israel. Israel should have been pushed a long time ago into a 2 state solution and also into shutting down their settlement expansions. Young Adults in the US may soon be fighting and dying for what? To perpetuate an immoral stance by a country that treats some people as 2nd class citizens, if even that, led by a man who is trying to stay out of jail.
