I certainly wouldn't want to meet that asshole.Urgent | Israeli Broadcasting Authority: Prisoner Idan Alexander refuses to meet Prime Minister Netanyahu
I'm sure Trump will be happy after Israel throws them some paper towels. Just don't ask if they explode later.Interesting
To be fair to Biden, which US President has been against Israel's slow-motion genocide over the past 70+ years?-In favor of the guy that's going to ship Palestinians to Madagascar or something and turn Gaza into an American occupied Riviera or something... Until he meets with the Saudis... Or Netanyahoo or someone else with an opinion, or like whatever man.
Absolutely is the blackest stain on Biden's presidency though.
That may have been the case in the 1950s and the 60s when Israels main adversaries (Egypt, Syria) accepted arms and support from the Soviets thus gaining them a strategic foothold in the region. There is no Israel without the US and Western Europe supplying it with cash and weapons. I think of Israel as a "Western" finger plugging a hole in a dam. Without Israel, there is no strong European-centric force in the middle east, regardless of "allies" like Saudi Arabia. There's a reason Israel can do pretty much whatever it wants and the US and Western Europe just ignores it at best or supports it at worst/default.
So answer my first question/assertion.That may have been the case in the 1950s and the 60s when Israels main adversaries (Egypt, Syria) accepted arms and support from the Soviets thus gaining them a strategic foothold in the region.
But after the 67 war with Israel seizing the West Bank, Gaza, Golan, etc, in definance of international law, Israel has proven nothing more than being a massive stratgic liability for western interests in the region and fuelling radicalism and anti-American sentiment since then.
The only thing that has kept Israel going and doing what it wants is the stranglehold its lobby (AIPAC and a compliant, mostly 'controlled' MSM) has had on US foreign policy and its ability to defeat any political candidate in congress opposed to Israel by bribing his/her opponent with funding to win their seats in congress.
Very much like a dystopian scenario where some cult or foreign power has gained virtual control of a super power and forces it to act against its own self interests.
The problem with the question is that no US pres had viewed it as a slow motion genocide. And that they had all given Israel the benefit of the doubt that it would accept a 2 state solution and live side by side with the Palestinians. Even though some of them knew better after their term (Jimmy Carter). So answer my first question/assertion.
Which US President has been against Israel's slow-motion genocide over the past 70+ years?

Right, no US Presidents have been against what Israel has been doing over the past 70+ years.-Closest we ever got in recent history was HW Bush who withheld weapons from Israel temporarily, which ofc turned AIPAC against him and cost him a couple crucial % points in his reflection bid (far from the only reason he wasn't reelected).
It is clear that telling Isarel babies might die will likely only encourage him to you know kill them off after all that is an effective approach to genocide.View attachment 124139View attachment 124140

our greatest allies! the only democracy in the middle east~
Yep, but with a popularity of around 90% after the gulf war, its a bit easier for a US prez to have some balls and take on Israel/AIPAC. Even though they managed to turn things around by the time of the next election by focusing on the economy and painting HW as a failing prez. If it wasnt for the lobby (and its aligned MSM) I think HW would have won.-Closest we ever got in recent history was HW Bush who withheld weapons from Israel temporarily, which ofc turned AIPAC against him and cost him a couple crucial % points in his reflection bid (far from the only reason he wasn't reelected).
