Home Assistant?
Yeah, I don't think it will fill the dishwasher, tidy up the house, do the laundry and make lunches for the kids, which are the most time consuming parts of our daily routine, now that cleaning and mowing should be taken care of.

I'm not really into IoT, as I prefer keeping things as simple as possible.

Think big. If you use paper plates, there are no dishes to wash xd

Bunch of misc electronics components from Digikey. The major one being a ENC28J60 which is an ethernet Phy, the rest are all components to support it such as PoE controller, ethernet jacks, resistors, etc. I was torn between doing that, or the Wiznet 5500 but I really don't need the full TCP/IP stack for what I'm doing.

And as I type this I just realized I forgot the isolated DC DC converter to step down 48v down to 5v. Doh. The one I had in my cart already was marked as end of life so I deleted it so I can go find another then got side tracked looking at resistors and capacitors. All of this is mostly just to test anyway so won't need that right away. Once I have a circuit working I will refine it and order any extra parts needed. Went with through hole for as many things as needed but if I get PCBs made I would do surface mount. I even wonder how well ethernet stuff will work with TH components on bread boards, but we'll see. I'm only doing 10mbps.

I just purchased a dental implant. Probably cost around 5 grand for the entire process start to finish, including removal of the bad tooth up to capping it. Right now I just had the implant along with the bone graft, 3 months I'll be evaluated to see how the healing and the process is going.

Looks good! I had an implant placed about seven months ago and crowned in February. No issues so far. I ended up paying $6.6k from extraction to the final crown, but I also had to get a sinus lift since it was an upper molar and my sinus cavity dipped down quite a bit right where that tooth was.

Even though the healing process sucks (and also the cost...), you'll be glad you did it once it's all finished.

Is there any particular goal, or are you just making weird alloys?

I'm using it for casting. I made some weights for a little torch stand I built and I want to make some silicone parts and this could be a good reusable negative forming material. Since it melts so low, it doesn't hurt wood or silicone at all.
