Used 2016 very good condition Steelcase Leap V2 office chair from btod.com for my PC. Still pretty pricey at $450 but I live in BFE WV so little to no high-end chairs for sale in my area. My back and legs have been bothering me lately so I'm hoping this helps.

RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum with Dual-Roller Bar (Tool-Only)

RYOBI 18V ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless Drywall Cut-Out Tool (Tool-Only)

The vacuum is something I've been eyeing for a bit though, sometimes I just want to do a quick spot clean and taking out the bigger plug in vacuum is kind of a pain just for one spot so then it never gets done. This will make it easier. Also planing on getting two kittens so it will be nice to clean the litter that eventually gets tracked out of the box. Makita actually makes a commercial grade full size upright vacuum that runs on two 18v batteries, kinda tempting to get as my main vacuum but don't want to spend that coin yet.

The drywall tool is something I should have got a long time ago, it's a faster way to do around outlets and other wall penetrations. Just need to measure out a general spot and do a small hole then lay the sheet and you can zip around the electrical box faster than pre measuring the entire opening. I'll probably be starting on my basement drywall at some point, maybe in fall, so it will be nice to have.

Bought a Prebuilt PC from a boutique vendor for what I estimate is a reasonable price in my country.

RTX 4090 and AMD 7950X!

Now I can suck sweet ray traced goodness.

you wore a pair of shoes out in a week?
No, I wore the pair that is not in a box out of the store. Put what I was wearing in the box.
Brand names are so dumb
Maybe so, name brands are in everything though.

No, the wedges are for my wife, she's not short, 5'7". I am not super tall, 6', the shoes are for me. Yeah they were all about $900 plus some crazy tax but oh well. Cheaper than the purse she got on the same trip.

I'm glad the Chinese haven't pushed them out. Lots of folks still value the attention to aesthetics over outright speed. That plus the old guys going for nostalgia

Same voltage/packs, only now NiMH. The capacity of said batteries have increased significantly.
I haven't jumped down the lithium rabbit hole.

Taking the peak design phone case and bike mount out for a spin today for the first time. So much better than quad lock for multiple reasons. Glad I made the switch

182 issues of Superman comics from the early-mid '90s at the I-80 Flea Market (Tinley Park, IL) - $40 . So about $0.22/copy.
Wanted to haggle for a lower price, but seller wouldn't budge. Nice addition to my comic collection and digital scans (cbr/cbz format) from 1935-present (D.C. and Marvel).

THe Hiplok D1000 u-lock. Essentially the same weight and size as the Krypto NYC Fuggedabout it mini u lock, but this one can make angle grinder discs turn to dust. A thief would need 5 discs to get through this. They'd likely move on even if they had a spare disc or two. Thanks REI for the 20% off coupon as well!

RIDGID 120V 7-Inch Table Top Wet Tile Saw

Was cutting tile and realized where I end the tile needs only 1/2 trimmed off and I couldn't get it to cut with the cheap score/snap style cutter I already have so gave in and just bought a real tile saw. I should have done that from the start but was just avoiding having to go outside to cut since it's just annoying going in and out all the time for each cut. I can do all my cuts in one shot though in this case since I laid all the tiles needed except for ones that need cutting. Come to think of it that's probably how I should just do it next time anyway, that way I'm not trying to race as things are drying.

Just took it for a spin. I was right at the edge of my work area so was able to just precut everything in one go now I'm ready to lay them down. It's not too messy so I probably could have actually used it indoors.

So I've had sleeping problems my whole life & recently solved my life-long insomnia issues. One odd thing growing up was that I usually had bad dreams. Once I got treated for my stomach condition (SIBO), core issue (histamine intolerance), and sleep apnea (BiPap mask), I went to not remembering dreaming at ALL. Like just totally blank all night, which was a relief after having crazy-bad dreams all my life! Then one day I started having GOOD dreams & traced it, strangely enough, to eating walnuts before bed. I've experimented with various methods over the last couple of years & settled on (1) not eating a couple hours before bed (due to reflux), but (2) having about a quarter-cup of fresh walnuts before bed (eating them on an empty stomach produced the strongest effect).

The other day, I saw that they make a capsule of walnut hulls, so I decided to give it a try, and it worked! It doesn't have as strong of an effect as fresh walnuts do, but I go from zero dreams to happy dreams, so it's very clear when I take it, that it works! Growing up with an undiagnosed stomach condition that caused anxiety, this is pretty novel to me! I still don't know what my body is deficient in that causes this. I also haven't really found much on the nutritional properties of the walnut hulls, so I don't know what vitamin or mineral or whatever is causing this effect, because it'd be great to isolate the specific thing that is boosting me from no dreams remembered to having good dreams!

With my histamine intolerance, I used to wake up with a cold sweat from night terrors. Basically, I'd just get a shock of adrenaline while I was sleeping lol. I put some feelers out on social media a couple years ago, but so far I haven't found anyone else who experiences "walnuts = good dreams". Very odd! But nice to be able to take a pill to get a similar effect! I tried out two pills last night, but it wasn't any different than one pill. I've also tried some various multi-vitamin type of stuff over the years, but haven't narrowed it down quite yet. Very specific situation with interesting results, haha! It's only ten bucks for 100 pills, so it's not too bad:

Be careful with those. They are not recommended for more than two weeks of continuous use. Could cause kidney/liver damage.

Yeah, I had read some various (and conflicting) reports about long-term use. I also picked up some walnut powder. Might try a DIY pill route. As far as the world of supplement goes, I typically tend to stay on the medically-tested in double-blind studies, haha. For one, because I think most supplements are a scam (not measurable or discernable improvements; a lot of reviewers use the same adjectives that hardcore headphone reviews use lol), and two, there are some heavy-duty supplements out there that can equal the effects of serious drugs that people get hooked on & mess up their bodies with. I try to stay away from dependencies (sugar notwithstanding LOL).

I've trained my brain to equate sugar with poison. I even return the ketchup packets that the fast food joints (sometimes I will eat a burger sans fries and drink) like to throw in with the order. No soft drinks. No canned/packed fruit juices. Just fresh fruits (mostly watermelon) at the start of a meal and maybe flavored milk at the end of a meal to deal with the craving for something sweet to counter the salty aftertaste of the meal.
