Err those things are not that great with manual control, I can't imagine electric making it better.

My big Christmas present from the wife this year was a pair of 3rd gen Echo speakers + an Echo Subwoofer.

Makes for a solid sound system in the family room + will pair with our Firestick to be a wireless multimedia center.

Good sound, great range, relatively inexpensive audio system. Biggest downside is its a little wonky (having the two speaker units on opposite sides of the room clearly messes with the Echo's voice recognition a bit, sometimes you have to wait for a minute or two for the FireTV stick and speakers and sub to all sync up and activate).

Got a $150 HD gift card for Christmas so bought myself a Ryobi powered caulk gun. One of those things I always thought would be nice to have but I only ever think of it while I'm on my 3rd tube of PL Premium and my hand hurting. About to glue down sub floor to do tiles so figured it would be a good time. Going to go well when I make laminated beams too once I start my cabin.

If your hand hurts from too much manual caulking, try using the other hand...

Supposedly has 500lbs of force. I'll find out when I use it though if it's really up to par. If it saves my hand from hours of caulking it will be worth it though. Sometimes a man just needs to caulk a lot in a day.

Looks like something out of Team Fortress.

Medicare A & B, plus Medigap & a part D drug policy….ouch! LOL 😂

With my 99 problems I figured original Medicare, plus a medigap & drug plan would probably be best for me. Forget about that Medicare Advantage crap. I go for pulmonary function tests later this month & the new pulmonologist in early February , premiums being paid eases the mind.

Just bought new rims, mud flaps, push bar with light bar, light up Bronco letters, amp for speakers, 2.5" lift, track bar, and tailgate reinforcement for my Bronco. Last few things still not on, just received today. Aftermarket is tailored for 4 door, but some 2 door stuff trickling out. Crazy weather, 6 degrees last week and snow, 65 this week. Fog and ditch lights, with new tires next.

Got two used office chairs, $25 each. They're "premium" quality chairs a generic company would give their upper level employees. IOW, kind of nice, but kind of cheap. Not true premium, but better than what I had.

My new snowblower came in today. Will do a video review next time we get a snow fall but the weather is weird lately and we're not getting much snow. Hoping for a nice good storm again like the last one. Sorry to say. Tried it out to widen the driveway and it works great but with the recent snow melt everything is all ice and crap so it was not really a good test given I had to break up everything first and it was only like a foot or so of snow/ice chunks so not really a good enough test, but it did power through all that no issue. A good test is going to be the snow plow drift.

Also the price just went up by a few hundred on the Greenworks site, I got a good deal on this at 2k. Still on sale though as regular price is 3k. Even gas ones have gone up, looking at around 3k for a comparable Ariens now days. I have a friend looking into getting one but wants to stick to gas so we were looking at the the other day.

The crate alone probably has like $200 of metal in it, I'm surprised it was this overbuilt. The 3 4ah batteries is maybe like $900 of batteries if I were to buy separate. The more I think about it the more I realize this snowblower was a steal at 2k. I'm not too sure how it uses the 3 batteries together, like if it tries to use them all in parallel or just cycles through one at a time. I don't think it puts them in series as it will in fact run with just one battery. I even tried a combination of 2ah batteries and 5ah. It did not run very long with the 2ah ones though. Makes sense to just put all 3 in there anyway but good any combination seems to work fine. If for whatever reason I don't have all 3 charged batteries I can at least put them on the charger and go start a snow blowing job with whatever other battery I might have on hand.

When I tried it with the 3 4ah batteries I played around with it for at least 15 minutes and I didn't lose a single bar so I'm fairly confident this will do the whole driveway in one charge. The key is to keep the batteries indoors though. Thing is swapping batteries out is a 2 second thing anyway so if I had a huge driveway I would just have a rotation going.

How do you like the Bronco? Have you offroaded it yet?

I really do love it. I wasn't in the market for it, didn't want to get ride of my old car. But the dealership dropped it off a lift when working on it. So I had to get something. Couldn't get what I had, this was about the only other thing I wanted.

I have taken it off road, I'm not super aggressive off roader though. I like playing around and getting away from people. Rock crawling isn't for me. Plenty of places around here for it. I have front and rear lockers, and best gear ratio. It's capable, I'm just not going to get crazy with it. The stock tires suck, especially with gravel. Higher lift will help too.

My wife's Land Rover Defender has never, and will ever see off road sadly though, ugh.

Oh, and I bought the Ford Performance tune. Adds hp and torque, while keeping the factor warranty. I have to have an ASE tech install it though.
