My 19 year old DeWalt miter saw is on it's last leg, armature is almost burned out, so I bought the new Skill 10". It's a lot of saw for the money.
If it lasts it's a hell of a tool for the money. Cuts are right on out of the box, even came with an acceptable blade.Wow that's a good deal! I have a nice sliding mitre saw my grandpa gave me but have not actually used it much yet, it takes up lot of space so it's been stored away, will take it out when I finish my shop. I have a smaller Ryobi one I use more but I find the stops are not very accurate, if I need a very square cut I'm not getting it without lot of finessing with the saw and a speed square to get it dead on. Good enough for framing... lol.
If you live near the sticks, marketplace is a good resource for saw mill lumber. I picked up a bunch of White Oak 1x8 for about 14% of what the lumber yard charges.Enough wood and miscellaneous to finish my queued up projects. $500. I guess wood doesn't grow on... wait...
Err didn't try soaking it in vinegar solution overnight first to decalcify?Moen magnetic handheld shower head. Bought the same one almost 6 years ago. Was way overdue for replacement. I forgot how easy it should be to switch between the different spray settings lol.

In 2008 it was cheaper for me to self import a 2006 MB E350 4Matic from Peoria, Illinois, pay airfare and road trip for two, the duty (10.5%), exchange rate (33%), gst+pst (13%), pay MB Canada CAD$2000 to change out the dash so they would honour the warranty then buying the the same car same mileage in Canada.I always think I'm getting a good deal until I find out what prices are on US based sites, always hurts to see how bad we get screwed here. Exchange rate doesn't help especially right now as it's really in the shitter. Definitely ads to the price.
