nope, dead simple. I literally picked up car from dealership, drove it to the commercial customs office at Detroit (took me 1.5 hrs to find the entrance because it is not well lit and no sign), fill out export paper work, drive to Canadian customs, pay taxes, drive home. Then get an inspection from crappy tires then go get a plate like any other car.I've read about that, it's a shit ton of work dealing with doing that, but it does end up being way cheaper.
I just followed steps listed on a website lol.
But now the used car market in the US is horribad and the exchange rate is not helping.
