In the GTA car theft is super bad too, the mayor even told residents to leave the keys in an easy accessible place so that thieves have an easier time to find them when they break in your house at night while you're sleeping. They have zero interest in stopping this and our hands are tied as if we intervene then we get in trouble.

I am in Texas, one of the most Red and Conservative State in the Union. Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was really something I needed, but once I got it, I realized how helpful it is. Woodworking clamps and vice grips can only do so much - these things are huge frustration savers. They have a 3" which would be great for some of the smaller stuff I do, but it was in-store only and my time is worth more than the tiny price difference.I've been considering a vice from the consignment shop, but haven't yet pulled the trigger.
