This drive is still with me and still works. Years ago it had an issue where windows wouldn't detect it anymore, but somehow it's still here and working just fine. Not bad.
Giving back sounds stupid to me. There is no loyalty either way. They make something, and if we want it for the price, we buy it. That being said, I'd like to smell Jensen's feet at least once in my lifetime to really prove my affection for him.
I'm kind of glad I didn't try to wait for a 4080 super. It's only about 15% faster and there's a good chance I wouldn't have even been able to get one at msrp. The msrp models sold out. Yikes. Looks like $1000 is the new solidified high-end price. Enthusiast price is now $1600-2000+. Damn...
I enabled Expo and it works fine so far. I also verified the SOC voltage is at 1.27v under auto settings, which is under the 1.3v AMD mandated since the issues happened. I then noticed the CPU VDDIO / MC voltage was about 1.39 under auto, so I just turned that down to 1.25 to see how it would...
Thanks. Will it auto-apply super high voltage that will fry the memory controller or something? That was a concern with the Intel chips last I checked.
I bought a new B650 board from micro center, along with a bunch of other stuff. I was all excited and drive all the way down there and came back home with me fancy new stuff. I was all set to build my rig. So after much work tearing down my old water cooled setup, I was ready to install my...
The card work great for VR. After the sickness started to settle, slightly happier mental events began to stir. This is about gaming after all. It should make me happy (it does).
I got the 4070Ti Super. I feel sick and dirty. Terrible value card and designed specifically to force me up to the 4080, but I refused to pay a cent more as this was already bad enough. The 4070 Super isn't good because of the small bus width and lack of Ram. AMD isn't a reliable option for...
Early reviews for these cards with VR were bad, but things have changed and they seem to do better now. The cards have raster grunt with enough Vram. Any experience with these cards and VR? I'm not waiting around for Nvidia to offer a real GPU, so they're out. It's either I keep what I got...
