The key point is the interconnect, which is completely different in MI300 than Epyc. Also Clark said more cores per L3 complex. So not 4c.

That doesn't necessarily mean OEM exclusive. Many tray processor SKU are available at retail.

I'm not defending their pricing entitlements. But what you say makes no sense. A workstation part should have both. The desktop perks included. Also did you all catch that no unregistered DIMM for you? Only registered memory supported.👌🤞😎

AKA running in spec. At stock. this probably shows how AMD botched the fabric clocks. At the usual 3:2 speed DDR5-5200 gives only 1733 MHz IF clocks.
