It’s really on brand for you to refer to the real world impacts of Musk’s poor decision making and frankly shit business sense as “a nice bit of theater”.
That's exactly what it was. The article didn't include any information about why the department was shut down, what event's lead up to what appears to be a clusterfuck, or any questions presented to Tesla. It was clearly designed to put Tesla and Musk in the worst light possible, and including the story from the alleged ex employee was done for no other reason than to demonstrate the damage done by the evil Musk and his cabal of villain's.

That isn't journalism. The story left out more information than it included, and was entirely one sided. My high school newspaper did better reporting than that, and we were all stoned.

It's a good thing Tesla has a PR department to answer those questions....oh wait.

Literally this entire clusterfuck points back to one person, and one person only.

You wouldn't know real journalism if it walked up to you and smacked you in the face.

It's amazing when someone is so consistently shitty such as yourself, that we know that since you are criticizing this from your permanent willfully ignorant state, this must be good journalism.

There is no good reason why the entire supercharger team was summarily fired. That's the point. It's just Elon being the erratic shitfuck he is. But he is your people. The shittiest always are.

You know that because you have information that you're unable to disclose, or you just hate Musk and dream of his downfall?
I've never been a Musk fan, I've never been a Tesla fan, but I'm a big fan of knowing complete stories. I absolutely hate stories that omit information or add fluff in an attempt to garner an emotional response. Give me the facts without embellishment. The only reason to exclude information or add "spin" is to deceive me, and that's a sure fire way to make me take whatever has been stated as propaganda or outright lies.

He's a rich guy on the spectrum playing with his toy's. His mistake was deciding to become a political animal. Clearly he doesn't care if his beliefs damage his company.
Tesla isn't his toy though. It's a publicly traded company that he doesn't own.

It's obvious to anyone with a modicum of sense that firing teams responsible for

1) developing your products
2) infrastructure to support those products

is an absolutely asinine idea. Tesla cannot afford to rest on its existing product portfolio while competitors catch up and overtake.

I care far more about the regular employees of Tesla than Musk. All he'd have to do is resign and both he and Tesla at large would be better off for it

Look at what happened with Twitter. It *was* profitable before Musk took over. Barely, but it *was* profitable. Then he saddled it with debt, fired anyone who knew anything, and now it's a complete dumpster fire.

If you really cared about “knowing complete stories” you would even look around a bit yourself. But we know from long experience here you don’t. So stop trying to lie to us.

Here are some questions for you to find the answers to:

1. Did Musk rant about some executives at Tesla not being on board with cutting enough costs?

2. Did Musk state that he would fire everyone who worked for an executive at Tesla who didn’t get it?

3. Did Tesla fire the entire Supercharger and new car development teams?

4. Had Tesla just made huge strategic gains by getting multiple competitors to adopt its charging standard and network?

5. In your opinion is it wise to fire the team responsible for implementation of the agreements you made?

Do you watch Fox News at all?
Do you hold them to the same standard?

His hand-picked BoD never got the memo.

Twitter is not a very good example. Pre-Musk, they had a few slightly profitable quarters, but ran in the red for virtually their entire existence. Twitter never figured out how to turn its massive userbase into net profits, and this isn't unusual for 2nd-tier social networks (i.e. the popular ones after FB and Tik Tok). Yes, he fucked up Twitter by making it a toxic wasteland, and turning away all the advertisers, but they had been muddling along for years. A smarter investor would not have cratered their only source of revenue, but would have tried to reduce costs and become more efficient (layoffs). But obviously that isn't exactly what he's in it for. Twitter would have inevitably had large layoffs and a new CEO even if Musk never showed up with his god offer. Remember the previous Board had no intention of selling, but it was an offer they couldn't refuse.

I just find it funny that the guy in every topic he posts in, who always seems to not know the full story and who makes verifiable incorrect claims, claims he likes to have the full story because he doesn’t like to be lied to.

We have a quarter of a century of posting history from this guy, exactly who does he think he’s fooling?

I thought it was public knowledge that the Tesla PR/comms dept. was one of the first cuts that Phony Stark made? He waved it off with something like "I'm my own comms team" or some such god-complex level bullshit.

Are we talking about the same guy who runs away like a cowardly dog with his tail between his legs when asked for further info or proof of his claims? That guy?

I agree, the article was annoying, I really just posted it for the letter part, not all the other crap. The rest of the backstory is covered well enough elsewhere.

Right. This is why you prefer Barr's summary of Muller's investigation into Trump, rather than the actual report, which recommended 10 counts of obstruction of justice.

...no one believes you. I mean, it's absolutely fucking comical to say this with your known posting history here, and your profound rejection of being properly informed on the facts.

Why do you say things like this when everyone knows you are lying?

Greenman will be informed in this thread and pretend to not know later on. It's his thing.
I disagree. That guy is immune to being informed. He literally has an inability to be informed, it's part of the right-wing disease. It's dangerous.

Musk's major mistake is pissing off current(and potentially future) customers and those who may be in the market for an electric car. At least he is smart enough to not piss off the Pentagon (for now).
