These sales certainly don't bring the boys to the yard like they used to, do they Kelis?

Post any hidden gems, suggestions, requests, etc here.

I personally tend to wait for the winter sale, but I might grab Fable Anniversary for the wife since she's finished with Portal 2 and Hogwarts but still seems to be jonsing for some family game time.

I'm generally looking for good, cheap ($10 or less) couch co-op games and adventure games (puzzle or action, the kind of thing it's fun to watch while someone else plays). Fun, lighthearted, and child friendly (no extreme violence or sex or that kind of thing).

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (I swear its not a dating sim / adult game!)
- up to 4 players can control a space ship (one crewing the engines, one crewing the guns, etc)
Castle Crashers
Overcooked series
Stardew Valley
It Takes Two (A bit more expensive)

Already have LiaDST, CC, and OC'd and they're all incredible couch co-op games. Wife has SDV, didn't realize it was co-op.

I'd throw in Helldivers and even the new Gauntlet (it's no Diablo, but it's a fun 4 player couch co-op dungeon crawl).

Have my eyes on Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder's Revenge, and Shoota Blood n' Reef.

Them's Fightin' Herds seems like a fun place for my kids to get into fighters too.

Half-Life: Alyx is $23, which is the all time low. I wonder if that or the upload vr humble bundle would be a better buy.

Not finding anything interesting that I had not picked up last time.
Maybe construction simulator?

Picked up Siege of Centuari. Been a while since I played Ashes of the Singularity but I'm always up for a cheap tower defense game.

For some reason I keep returning to World of Tanks, so I bought 360 days premium with a 30% coupon.
I've just bought all DLC for Grim dawn, and have a huge backlog of games that I could start. So no steam sale for me.

Picked up Fable Anniversary for the wife, the game is about as cleaned up an remastered as an old OG Xbox title can be.

im really waiting for the remake to come out..
But i heard they are trying to get political in it... which is sort of making me sad, as i really do not want videogames to get political like the movie industry has been becoming.

While I have around 150 games on my wishlist and a lot of them are 75% off, the only two I'm looking for are Mount and Blade Bannerlord and Resident Evil 4. Bannerlord is still $30 and I probably won't get around to playing it anytime soon so I might pick up some smaller indie games at 75% off and wait for those two big ones to get lower.

Also, for anyone who has a lot of time and extra money lying around and might want to try to exploit the system a bit, there's this:

I ended up buying a bunch of titles:

Eurotruck simulator 2
Construction simulator
Subnautica
Battlebit remastered (really fun)
Forever skies
Insurgency sandstorm
Dave the diver

And a few more can't recall off the top of my head.

The funny thing these days for me is, I will see a game on sale during the rest of the year and think, oh I'll wait till a mega sale in the summer/winter etc.. Then at the summer sale the game will be $5-10 higher than it was during a mid-week or weekend sale on Steam. That or some games on sale are just at the price the various official resellers discount the games at regularly. It kind of kills much interest in the big sales.

Forever Skies looks good but is EA and just came out. I think I'll wait on it a bit. Subnautica is a great game though, especially at $10.

seems like a lot of effort for 40 GBP worth of credits. i imagine valve is aware of this, and not enough people are going to bother with it to make it worth their effort

It's possible, but his past Steam exploits worked for over a week before Valve patched them out and he even mentions in the video that it'll probably be fixed within 48 hours. I farmed cards using an auto-clicker and a simple macro a few years ago which netted me about $60 total once I had sold all the cards generated. Granted, it took almost half a day just to list every single card because there were so many but I know a lot of people work from home and have some free time on their hands. I can only imagine if a lot of people started doing this, they'd change their refund policy for bulk orders like this.

Hmm, I dont know if I should get Atomic Heart Premium Edetion. for $60 since the game is not that long. They do release an expansion for it on August 2nd. I played the demo and the game is fun.

If the 4 DLCs are about a game's worth of content, that's not too bad. Otherwise I would wait for all 4 to be out before buying.

I have atomic heart but have not played it yet. I have been wanting to get the game High on Life and it seems worth it at the current sale price.

Three more days of the sale and I haven't purchased anything yet...

I feel like it's a crime I'm passing up Metro: Exodus for $6 at the very least. Maybe Kingdom Two Crowns for $4 and Hob for $5. Hell, even Doom Eternal for $13.20 feels like a decent purchase. Guess I'll revisit this tomorrow and see how I feel about the bigger discounted items on my wishlist after I've slept a bit.

I got callisto protocol and dead Island 2 with my video card. I've played dead island for 2 hours and got bored, and haven't even tried callisto protocol.

I looked at the sale items the other day for the first time, but didn't bite on anything. I should probably pickup stardew valley, but figure I can hold off until the Winter sale and possibly get another $5-7 in savings (it was $7.49 back in February...).

Battlebit might be fun (it is more up my style for FPS games).

I just havn't seen much that has really interested me lately. Maybe when Baldur's Gate 3 officially comes out....
