Interesting that this driver says polaris-vega in the title not really seeing much in here for 7000 series other than new game support. My control panel shows this is available for me to download so going to install it now.

I used DDU and manually downloaded the driver which is what gave me that error below. If you install directly from the control panel it works fine.

these drivers will not install on 5000/6000/7000 series so it looks like they are just for Polaris and vega doing a manual install.

It seems we have two seperate drivers for this release I will create another thread of the RDNA 1,2,3 series driver.

Interesting, looks like they are separating drivers for the last supported GCN cards from the RDNA cards. Note that RDNA also includes RX 5000 series.

That's another Scooby Doo mystery solved. The rumors about Vega and Polaris going legacy were based on leaked (late July I think?) closed beta drivers where they were missing. Instead they separated them, at least for the time being.
