Did someone just mention race stats?

Day 28: Wednesday, April 15 — that's all folks!
14:00 UTC stats
(10 AM EDT, 7 AM PDT)
links: official race stats, TeAm AnandTech at EOC, Tom's Hardware at EOC

Daily production

Both teams combined

Tom's and ourselves together crunched workunits worth 4,419,576,007 + 5,513,255,966 = 9,932,831,973 points during these last 4 weeks. Not the nice eleven-digits number we hoped for, but pretty close!

EOC counts that our two teams had 2,233 + 1,288 = three-and-a-half thousand users active during the final week of this race – plus probably a good number of users who didn't register but took part anonymously.

Thanks to @Ryan Smith and his colleagues at Tom's for making this happen! And @Ken g6, thank you for the stats tracker.

Thumbs up to all folders who persisted here — this one was certainly not a race in which you set your computer up to crunch, then sit back, relax, and enjoy the cozy warm room while the gear does all the rest by itself. ;-)

And once more hello and welcome to all who found their way here (or to our arch enemies...) for the first time. Thanks so much for joining, and see you! :-)

We have "arch enemies" now? :|

Let's just call them "rivals".

Edit: Or are you referring tongue-in-cheek to the TomsHardware participants? LOL.

Wow Last year I stopped by and you guys complained in our forums about it.
This year i play nice and you still complain.
Sounds like a bunch of single old women.
We always loose big time. But who cares,FOLDING@HOME always wins.
Thanks for folding Guys/Gals.

Relax, as you say, the science is the winner. But no offense, it sounds like you have your panties all bunched up more than us old women here.

Err, I'm not sure if you're joking or serious, (if you're being serious) I don't know what happened a year ago, or what we (not me) was said on your forums, nor what you said here.
I was just trying to initiate some friendly banter between us so we could have a little social contact, is that what you did last year?? Somehow I doubt it, as I generally know the guys around here & they're not likely to complain over some friendly banter, unless of course your communication was as ambiguous as it is now. Was your message last year misunderstood?

And btw, I didn't see anywhere here where people were complaining about you playing nice. If you were referring to my post, maybe you should read it again, as I didn't complain about you guys not saying anything, I expressed disappointment about not hearing from you guys & tried to provoke some friendly banter.
Clearly you jumped to conclusions (despite me using 2 wink smilies to clearly demonstrate that it was in a joking manner!), & you have totally got the wrong end of the stick!

If you're joking, maybe you should make it a little clearer, ........make that a lot clearer .

Assign rate jumped up about 30% this afternoon, hanging out over 130,000 per hour. Talk about a day late!

Stats page seems up be updating more regularly now - over 2.5 exaflops have returned work Units recently. Hopefully the assign rate keeps going up as well.

To clarify.
You guys are always welcome to visit ,chat or trash talk.( although I don't have a say either way.)
I mean I hope I did not offend anyone.? If I did ,please accept this as an apology.
Trash talk, banter, ribbing , is all in good fun for a GREAT cause and creates competitive spirit.
I started doing these back in the Chimp Challenge,Jade Monkey days and have been folding since Dec 2004.
So anything legal to bring more awareness to folding is a good thing.
So please calm down we are all in this together.
We had 2 days notice and 38 active folders when the contest was announced so I guess we did OK.

Well, the RMA for my 5700xt was approved today. It was never super stable, but this probably helped to bring it's demise quicker. Which is good, because it only has a one year warranty through Vistiontek. The old 290x will just have to step into position again. I am wondering how long it will take them to send a replacement, given everything that is going on.

The other GPUs will fold at least through this weekend, it's below freezing here in Minnesota.

My hat's off to you sir.
Thanks for folding.
I don't want to turn this into a pissing contest, just posted my link to show my dedication and commitment to folding.
Thanks again everyone.
I think I could have phrased that better, as I certainly don't want to be in a pissing contest.

I started folding 20 years ago. 10 years ago, I lost my father to cancer, and that only made me more determined. 2 years ago, I lost (in 48 hours total) my bladder, my prostate, my balance, and my hearing. The first 2 were from cancer, as the drugs did not kill it, the second 2 were a results of the cancer drugs.

So, as you can see, its about being determined to make a difference, not about the numbers. On our team, we have quite a few determined individuals as well. That is the recipe for success.

Glad you got a back up anyways, my current back up is a gtx285. Well i got a 4gb gtx960 out in loan in another build, not gonna pull that since the dude using it loves his gaming. Not selfish to take that from him for my own needs. Guy is having a ball with the build.

It looks like everyone got a huge influx of points last night/early this morning. 3am for the Team, 12am for users. I folded practically nothing after the race was over and its showing a days worth of productivity in that 3 hour slot.

Yeah, I'm seeing like 1.3M new points and my 1080ti is generally idle (though the 1660 super is running non stop). The assign rate is going up at F@H as well - >140k / hour, but my guess is there are so many idle clients they are going to need to at least double the assign rate to start getting ahead of all the resources available to process WUs.

I've had next to no GPU jobs the last 72 hours so didn't really contribute much other than these little CPU jobs which seem to be worth around 5k in points each job. After many pause and starts (thanks for that tip), plus a reboot it seems like everything is crunching again.

Congratulations to Team AnandTech on another hard-fought victory. I knew you could do it, and it validates all the faith I have in you to step up whenever Tom's Hardware starts thinking too highly of itself. That's now 3 in a row over TH, and I hope in time we'll get to make it 4.

And a special thank you to Ken_G6, biodoc, and everyone else on TA who helped to organize this race, provide support and tools, and otherwise chipped in to ensure Team AnandTech's victory.

This is me and I am also Unolocogringo on TH forums.
Nice output! , you've got considerably more firepower than I have by about x5, lol. My F@H stats. I could possibly reduce that to x4 if I fired up my ancient 2nd rig's GPU .
What spec is your rig?

We had 2 days notice and 38 active folders when the contest was announced so I guess we did OK.
You guys did way more than ok, you did damn well!

@Ryan Smith - The distributed computing platform has been around for over a decade now, .... I take it that's a typo, as you know it's been around about 2 decades .

Can't get a wu for my gpu to save my life,i guess the 4.5ghz 7700k will have to do. Some sort of sorcery with my motherboard despite being stock has applied a 4.5ghz oc. Usually nothing allows even a stable 4.7ghz then suddenly out of no where its at 4.5ghz......maybe since the wu thing is out of my hands some energy is just helping me? Got a nice boost hitting 63k over the normal 52k ppd.

Edit: yay look at that i got a wu for the gpu Wow nice timing for sure, not kidding it hasn't picked up one in quite a while and NOW picks up on one. Maybe the universe does answer hopes and wishes.

Is 91-92cel a safe temp for a 7700k with a 4.5ghz oc? Not sure if the voltage is to high or if the fan hanging off end of the 1080ti is blowing hot air into the hyper 212 but yeah i paused cpu folding. Was loading at 1.280-1.296v as well as it folded....

The oc oddly is a weird one, i didn't initiate it. Some odd setting broke the oc settings i guess?
