Question Budget But Still Good?

I'm talking budget as like <$200.

I have a AMD 5600G, so included APU.

I am looking cheap, but still good. I don't game like I used to, just play Minecraft and a few other low resource Steam games.

I'm looking for a 32-34-36 sized monitor. And wide, too. Needs to include HDMI + DP. (And latest ones, what's that, 1.2?) Audio port, I'd never use it.

Refurb does not scare me. As long as it is factory refurbished, by the same company. I've been using a set of 5 phones for around 5 years now. They work to this day. I had some refurbished stuff fail, but they were on the end of their lifespan anyway.

Which panel? IPS? VA? TN? OLED? QD-OLED?

Your price range allows only the first three.

IPS - great viewing angles and great colors. Not that great contrast ratio. Dark scenes won't wow you.

TN - just bad. stay away. It's like looking at a dying old person dying in front of you.

VA - great colors and great contrast ratio. You need to sit directly in front of it coz the viewing angles are a bit restricted. Good chance that dark scenes especially with lots of tiny lights in it will WOW you.

I personally would go with VA panel.

VA panels are great for monitors if you have the right size to viewing distance ratio. If you are sitting too close to a VA panel, the sides and corners of the screen will appear dim and the colors all off.

In your price range, I am not sure you will find many VA panels, and even fewer panels that are higher resolution that 1080p. Be aware that at those 32" and larger screens, 1080p resolution is really a very low pixel density, resulting in blocky text. Truthfully, I really would not recommend 1080p resolution for a monitor larger than 21 - 24". Once you hit that 27" and above size you really need to be looking at 1440p, but those will blow your budget at 32+ inch.
