hello so for starting sorry i have not an exactly correct english, but im gonna try to explain my problem

i've bought an dual cpu motherboard from gigabyte, it is a md60-sc0 with an only 2620v3 and 2x16gigs ddr4 ecc, appart from that i've bought 16x32gigs ddr4 ecc and 2x 2697A v4, the 2 xeon's v4 work perfectly on the board, i've the last bios updated on the motherboard, my problem is when i put the 2 xeon v4 i have no boot, when i have only 1 it boot, i've swapped them to check if one was maybe dead, no the tow work fine no temperature problem, nothing, i've seen on another forum , one person having the same problem, but if he run 2 v3 xeon ,the motherboard boot with no problem, so right now i just bought a second 2620v3 to test out if it works for me aswell,

if it work a guy mentionned on the same forum, that he have read buy translatin a russian forum that a lot of dual cpu motherboard non HP or Dell, have this problem, but it could be workarrounded by a bios mod, but i don't know anithing about bios modding , so im waiting for my secondary v3 to testout, and i'd come here to tell you it it works with 2 v3 or if the second cpu bracket is dead, i hope not, so if it works, would any good hearted person who know a lot about bios modding help me to workarround this problem,

thank you to anyone who are gonna help me

Unfortunate, any noticeable bent pins? pins don't have to be bent much at all to cause problems.

i dont see any bent pin but maybe your right, well 256gig is already a lot by the way

If you haven’t already done it, go to minimum config. Only what’s needed to POST, adding one thing at a time.

already done 1 cpu from 1 to 8 stick on ram but i can't do only one cpu if the second socket, so with 2 cpu's 8 stick of ram boot 12 boot but 4 are not detected, and 16 no boot ive waited 10 minute last time i tried

do you think it coulb be because of my psu??? i have a 1000watt but i think it's a monrail 12v, do you think i should buy a multi rail model like a be quiet straight power or a corsair ax1600i??

As long as the Amp’s on a single rail are adequate, I would say it is unlikely it’s the PSU, but if you wanna test it out that’s up to you.

As far as the minimum config piece, I can’t really tell if you’ve tried both CPU’s installed with a single DIMM each (DIMM’s would have been verified one at a time with just CPU 1 to verify they complete POST)

It might also be an issue with the RAM itself. Have you checked the hardware compatibility list for the motherboard (sometimes called Qualified Vendor List or QVL) to see if the memory you have is listed as qualified? I seem to remember some issues with various memory DIMMs for supporting more than 8 when using quad-ranked or even dual-ranked memory modules.

Are you plugging in each EPS12V 8-pin connecgtor on the mobo, preferably with separate rails off of the PSU?
