Portal: Revolution is free from Steam. You should be able to add this to your library without purchasing the base game. I'm not 100% on that as I already have the base game in my library.

Portal: Revolution is a fan-made mod for Portal 2 which plays before the events of Portal 2 in the dead and decaying Aperture facility.


I normally don't post free to play games but this one just released this week.

Someone on slickdeals said they were able to add it without owning portal. Did it block you from adding the DLC?

IMHO posting F2P games is opening up a can of worms. It would be like posting free movies streaming on tubi, freevee, pluto, etc. There is a ton of free digital content nowadays and it would just overwhelm the topic. Just go look at what the free digital forum on slickdeals has become. Plus a lot of F2P stuff has micro transactions. Also, if something is and has been free, it's not really a deal. If it was paid and just went free, then that is a great deal.
