The usual LED display emits a large amount of ‘blue light’ that can be harmful to your eyes, especially if you’re using your PC after sunset or in the dark. The ‘night light’ feature in your Windows 10 OS ensures that the general lighting scheme of your screen uses warmer colors, and thereby emits lesser blue light. If your eyes are watering from using your PC it might be due to blue light, and using the night light feature will be a helpful solution.
Here’s how you can enable this option.
Step 1
Open the 'Cortana search' tab
Go to the bottom right corner of your Windows 10 PC screen and you will see a button with a circular symbol. This is the Cortana search app, click on it to open the search bar.
Step 2
Search for the 'Display settings'
At the bottom of the Cortana tab, you will see an area where you can type in to search. Type ‘Display settings’ into this search bar.
Step 3
Open 'Display Settings'
At the top of the tab, the ‘Change Display Settings’ option should appear. Click on it to ‘Open’ the display settings tab.
Step 4
Turn on night light.
In the display settings tab, there will be a ‘Night light’ option with a slider below it. Click on the 'Slider' to enable the feature.

You can also click on the 'Night light settings' option below the slider to customize it.
Use the night light feature to protect your eyes when you use the PC for long periods of time.
