When Windows goes Idle, the screen on it locks and gives way to what is known as a “screen saver” which is an animated sequence or blank screen that prevents your screen from being in one fixed place for an indefinite time. Changing it is not a hard process to carry on, but you need to know where the dedicated menus are. Read on and learn how to set your screensaver in Windows 10.
Step 1
Open up the Start Menu on your Windows 10
Left-click on the bottom left corner of your screen where the Windows logo is or just press the 'Windows-logo' key on your keyboard. Doing either of these actions will bring the Start Menu up.
Step 2
Choose ‘Settings’
Click on ‘Settings’. This action will collapse the Start menu and will bring up the ‘Settings’ one immediately after.
Step 3
Select ‘Personalization’
Click the 'Personalization' option on the 'Settings' menu. From this dedicated menu, you can change all the personalization options provided by Windows 10 for its fine-tuning.
Step 4
Select ‘Lock Screen’
Click on the ‘Lock Screen’ option on the left-side menu of your screen. Clicking on this option will populate all the lock-screen related options, including the screen saver.
Step 5
Enter the ‘Screen Saver Settings’ Menu
Scroll down and then click on ‘Screen Saver Settings’ to enter the ‘Screen Saver Settings’ Menu.
Step 6
Select the Options and ‘Apply’ Them
Fine-tune your screen saver, apply the new settings and then click on ‘OK’ to save the changes.
Whenever you become tired of the screen saver you have at the moment, just repeat this sequence and change it again.
