How to set up "2" Nintendo Switch consoles w/ 2 copies of Mario Kart 8 for LAN.

Ok, I just picked up a second Nintendo Switch, the OLED Zelda model...and another copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

My wife and I want to play against each other through LAN.
So, we have "2" Switches, we have "2" copies of the game, and I can purchase the DLC again. But
when I go to purchase the DLC again for the second copy of the game, it says it has already been purchased.

Anyone know how to set up two Switches with two copies of the game on 2 seperate TV's to play through LAN ? I know this is done easily but I cannot find the info online.

Do I sign in, under the same account on both Switches ? Or a different account ?

The reason it's saying you already have the DLC is because you are on the same account on botch Switches.

I'm not sure how hard you actually tried to look for the info, but literally the first google search result explains exactly how to do it.

That was the first page I found, and read. But it does not state that you have to be logged in different accounts on the Switches. Regardless, I did figure it out the next morning.
