Taking screenshots can be very useful for a number of reasons. For example, you might be speaking with someone about something important in Skype and want to save the moment, or you have reached a great score at a game and want to prove it. Step 1
Take a Screenshot of the Main Screen in your Computer
Press the ‘Windows’ key and the ‘Prt Sc’ button simultaneously on your keyboard at the exact moment you want to capture the image. Once you press that button, your image will go straight to your clipboard. It is like copying a section of a text and having it ready for pasting somewhere else; the image won´t go away from clipboard until you copy or cut something else and replace it or turn off your computer.
Step 2
Open Windows Paint
Search for ‘Paint’ on the search bar of Windows 10. Type the word ‘Paint’ in the search bar of Windows 10 and it will look for the program and open it for you.
Step 3
Paste the Image on Paint
Use the ‘Ctrl+V’ keys on your keyboard to paste the image on Paint. Once you press that combination of keys on your keyboard, the image will appear on the screen. With all the tools of Microsoft Paint, you can tweak the image as you like before saving.
Step 4
Save the image
Once the image is done, save it in any format you need. Enter the File menu in Paint and then choose to save in the folder you want it.
