But with 33% more VRAM, better RT and pretty good Stable Diffusion performance. For anyone that values those things more, it's an easy buy over the 6700 XT.
I really think the A770 should drop further in price by year end, especially if Alchemist Refresh comes out.
EDIT: Forgot to mention AV1 decoding.
-Also important not to oversell the RT performance of Intel.
A770 is neck and neck with 6700xt at 1080p and 7% ahead at 1440p. So I wouldn't see RT as a huge win here, especially with the raster deficiency (AssCreed launching with no RT support at all in 2023).
That said, I think AMD is making a big mistake if they don't see Intel as a huge competitor in the space.
If Intel gains traction, they're not going to take NV's marketshare (I don't think anyone can do that with the way NV is executing) but they will absolutely demolish AMD and the two will be left fighting for the scraps of marketshare NV leaves behind.
AMD needs to nut up and stop with their summer child free for everyone second rate software support and third rate RT performance in upcoming gens. Intel clearly has their number with XESS and RT and as those techs become more important I can see Intel eating much of AMD's lower end share with battlemage and even moving up to their mid-range with celestial (or whatever).
