Intel stated that the issues with substrate would peak in Q2 and be resolved by the end of 2021 with massive investment from many parties to shore up that (what must have been) neglected part of the supply chain for all CPUs.
Shipments of automotive CPUs are way up as well according to many manufacturers.
I am saying I don't think it is an AMD thing but an industry wide push back to more normal supply chain deliveries and pricing.
Which is fantastic.
w/regards to AMD specifically, I believe that they are looking at buying dedicated capacity with a partner going forward, something they sold off during their previous down cycle.
