So far more than 90 lawyers have signed on to a legal letter alleging Israel’s conduct in Gaza violates U.S. and international law.
A coalition of lawyers domestic and abroad — including at least 20 that work in the Biden administration — are calling on President Joe Biden to halt military aid to Israel, arguing that its actions in Gaza do not comply with U.S. and international humanitarian law.
They plan to send a letter arguing their case to Attorney General Merrick Garland and general counsels across the administration in the coming days. In the letter, obtained by POLITICO, the lawyers contend that Israel likely violated U.S. statutes including the Arms Export Control Act and Leahy Laws as well as the Geneva Conventions prohibiting disproportionate attacks on civilian populations...
I guess she is basing it off of UN reports. But as to how many were tied among the bodies is unknown.

Once upon a time, I remember when people used to talk about political "slippery slope" situations like they were plausible hypotheticals. These days, particularly with regard to Israel vs Palestine, given how I already knew how the IDF had been forcing Palestinians to strip and transporting them in that state, those people ending up dead in a ditch doesn't seem so much like a plausible hypothetical situation, more like a completely expected outcome.
I wonder if the IDF will have made time to sexually violate / torture their victims (a la "accuse your opponent of the crimes you're guilty of") or whether they're having too much fun with random slaughter and demolition.
Israel has become a monstrosity of a nation.
You can look at dozens of other countries that have gone the same route. Totalitarian policies and genocide waged against a people who then do the same when they get power. Germans with Jewish people. Various colonial powers against Cambodia. Half of African, Central, and Southern American countries just to generally point at close to a quarter of the planet in just the last 100 years or so. Hell, take a look at the French Revolution and what happened there, and that was close to 250 years ago and entirely French on French.Israel has become a monstrosity of a nation.
