Missouri Republicans rigging the game against the will of their people to change the Constitution.

Republicans know people as a whole don't want their policies so they rig the game. Change the rules to residents can't change the Constitution via referendum with a majority vote. Pubs want to maintain their rule via gerrymandered districts.

Isn't that what Ohio legislature tried last year ahead of a pro-choice amendment? Hopefully Missouri voters vote down this nonsense like Ohio surprisingly did.

Republicans said the measure would provide geographic fairness.

This is like when Rs show those maps of presidential contests they lost as proof that people really agree with them but it's just fucking land which of course does not vote.

Remember folks, the "patriots" of the Republican party see nothing wrong with waving the Confederate Battle Flag side by side with the American one. They beat the shit out of and/or killed our own security forces protecting the sanctity of Our Capitol and ALL the legislators within it while claiming they wanted to take their country back without mentioning who they were taking it back from. They think it's perfectly OK for the titular head of their party and presumptive presidential candidate to be mired in legal jeopardy, sex scandals, having so many of his close associates arrested and jailed, to have no morals and ethics, to regard the Rule of Law as an obstacle, as something to crush underfoot because it interferes with his simplistic iron-fisted authoritarian style of running things to his liking.

They are compelled to exploit double standards as a means to tilt the playing field in their favor, that they are the ones who must use devious and anti-democratic means to seize and stay in power while projecting themselves onto their opponents as a means to justify their duplicity. But it's the new normal now where circular logic make things all good and proper......for them.

Countries, just like people, need to earn your support. Countries don't just get defacto support because you happen to live in said country.
