Ready and waiting here too.
The house seems to be cooling off and is eerily quiet.
For the first time in months, I have all the windows and doors closed. And I am running F@H getting 98.9 M ppd in the last 24 hours, so I have something running. 40F outside, lows above freezing,.

I have a bunch of boxes that can't get work ??? The 20 tasks.

9554 main

56487 PrimeGrid 12/10/2023 11:32:36 AM No tasks are available for Genefer 20

Edit: Problem was that even though I had it configured to not run CPU, it was counting the tasks for CPU that were "waiting" I changed the preferences for the 9554s to NO GPU and now I am full !

Stephan and I are tied, he must have 3 4090's also ! We are users 3 and 4, but the team is in first so far (early)

And Stephan, I got a affinity script setup. I changed the EXE to genefer22_linux64_22.12.02 and it appears to be working !

OK, now I can't get some CPU or GPU in some cases. Right now 3 are missing GPU, and one is missing CPU, with no config changes. Log messages just say "fetching GPU work for nvidia and 0 tasks retrieved.

All I am missing is money for more hardware. Otherwise all systems go!
I got another 9554 coming online tomorrow. Coming for ya ! Oh, and if I need it, I have 2 256 thread boxes that are not quite as efficient. Thats 512 more threads.

@biodoc ,
Thanks, Back for a little bit anyway. Running when I'm home, off when I'm not. Needed to see if I still knew how to run this stuff, only running my DD. Took a little to get it all running............the stuff I have forgotten how to do ................(not that I knew much)

I'm thinking of making a switch from GFN20 to GFN18, in the hopes of finding a prime 🔎

Points might not be as high, so a top ten finish might be a stretch, and I likely won't find one anyways...but boredom calls for a little prime hunting adventure 🕵️‍♀️

The good old days when you could get 50%+ overclock for like ? Watts? Power use was not even much of a concern back then

And review pages had titles like, "Chomp on this Celery Stick"!

It's less than 56. Not all of what you see in the hosts list has got GFN tasks. And those which have are client instances, not necessarily distinct physical computers. (Some are only running GPU tasks and others only CPU tasks. I don't know if @crashtech does, but if I would run GPU and CPU tasks on the same computer, I would do that in separate client instances for better control of the work buffers.)

Yes, I know. Mine has like 25, but 12 instances and one whole computer (the 9654) are just ONE computer. I only have 14.

Looks like biodoc went to the attic and dug out the celerons.😁
I'll never catch up now.😦
My computers aren't hidden so you can check out what hardware I'm running. I've got a 4090 and two 3080Ti's running GFN-20 GPU tasks and 2 instances (8 cores each) running GFN-20 mtCPU tasks on my 7950X. I guess if I switched them all to GFN-18 tasks, you'll probably catch me.

I'm really impressed by TNG's output. Looking at the computer list it all appears to be normal hardware not any cloud. Based on that output TNG probably has the most hardware of anybody on any team running distributed computing 🤯

I unhid my stuff relatively recently because it's good to be able to offer performance data about various tasks and machines to other crunchers. Also the drama that may ensue is a bonus.

15 boxes with a 4070,4080 or 4090 video card ? Maybe not cloud, but in one house ?

Definitely feasible especially if TNG has power setup appropriately. I had quite a bit more hardware than that all running at one point in a garage but it was prior to the 40x0 series coming out.

I don't like having all my computers in my house, so many of them are on another property that I own. Not that it matters, but you seem so curious.
