I still remember it like yesterday Intel M2 cache followed by Intel SSD , the stuff to get. We have Optane now, impressive technology but so limited because requirements(which i hope i might be able to use on ryzen stuff in SSD format on consumer level, one day). Was it that hard to predict that flash would end up in everything, demand would skyrocket when it becomes cheap enough and once you go flash or used certain GB/TB, you wont go back.
Sometimes i wonder how Intel board meetings go , we can make money , a lot just not the ridicules kind , cancelled , focus on optane???
