It's not per GB, it's for a 1 GB chip. And it's at an unknown speed, probably 14 gbps. The only product still on the market using 1 GB chips is the Series X (lol), and who knows how much inventory Microsoft has on that. The only demand for 1 GB chips otherwise is for warranty replacements I would have to think.
Yeah, fair enough. Average on the 16Gb chips is current 6.924, up 2.44%.

Are not, because there are 4 x 1GB chips. What you wrote would be true, if there were 4x 2GB chips on one side and 2x 2GB on the other.

Actually in this case, it looks like "Clamshell Mode" requires identical chips.

It splits the Data bus between the chips, and treats them as one big chip. Half the Data bus going to each chip while they share identical addressing. One chip gives you the MSB, and the other the LSB.

With that kind of setup you can't use different sized chips.

Doubt they are incorrect, they are probably using FSR in those titles not DLSS since FSR works regardless of vendor.
In Avatar Frame generation is not supported, true but DLSS 2 is.
So either they were lazy to test DLSS first and then FS3 frame generation or used the wrong color.

Geez, that’s worse than Nvidias marketing.
No, it's better, because they show native frames in the chart too. This graph is actually useable if you look at just the numbers on the left, while Nvidia's chart is totally useless.

But the marketing in general is becoming worse and more than ever we need to look at reviewers and ignore the marketing.
Overall go with the RX 6700 XT. RDNA 3 looks to be test bed architecture.
Yeah, it's not a great release. Perhaps RDNA 4 will provide good options at the low- and mid-tiers, although I'm not super-confident that they'll be able to make huge gains.

True AMD shows native fps but its also misleading. AFMF should not be compared to Nvidia's equivalent because the image quality is worse and you can't assess that on a slide.
An average consumer will look at that chart and see the "higher number," and may think that card is better but the charts don't showing these software tricks don't tell the whole story.

NV marketing always no numbers and didn't compare vs AMD cards
That makes perfect sense because for plenty of people, AMD is not an option. If Nvidia would take AMD seriously as a choice, that could convince those customers that AMD is a viable choice.

Instead, Nvidia wants to make it seem that the only choice that their customers have is which tier of Nvidia card to upgrade to, or whether they upgrade to an Nvidia card now or later.

Well YouTubers will use these in their videos.

Wouldn't call people who watch youtube videos an average consumer. In fact to be honest anybody who DIYs their build or even upgrades some parts in a pre-built is probably more than an average consumer.

The average consumer will do what I did when I purchased an oven. Found one that had the features I wanted and matched the other appliances and went with it or maybe they will speak to the sales rep at the big box store.

Hell the higher end segment is getting its perf/price upscaled with the Super models and the lower end perf/price is stagnating once again.

Yet they could at least release a full 36SM 4060Ti Super with 16GB 20gbps memory.

P.S. I just now see that this is not even the correct thread for It

What are you talking about?! The lower end segment is getting performance bars so large they don't even fit the charts! /s

PS: when I played X-COM: Terror from the Deep as a kid, I took such great care of one marine that I managed to bring it over 250 health. That marine was my pride and joy until I realized the game was not prepared for a 255+ health unit (probably 8 bit integer). HP went over the limit and become something like 5 or 7. I lost a good man that day
