It's a little more than that.
You have to find an appropriate image, work it in photoshop and the add it to Xenforo by the AP/Smilies.

I do them one at a time.
I'm not sure if I can post links in public, so I won't.

There is no thumbs down icon because people were supposedly abusing it!!But you can feel free to use this, but remember if you use this alone there must be commentary right on....or something else

We have asked, more than once, for such. The control over such things (and much more) has been taken away from us by our owners/overlords. Apparently, there are copyright issues that stand in the way or re-instituing them.

thumbs up is part of unicode, so your browser should be able to parse it without a emoticon from the forum.

unicode is standard text coding for computers. the computer receives what the character is supposed to be, then looks that up in the font table to see how to render it. that includes a huge number of standard emoticons/smileys/emojis. any modern computer/device includes those emoticons in its font pack, but the font pack depends on the OS/manufacturer. so what a looks like on windows may be slightly different from apple, or from stock android, or from samsung.

if you're on a standard desktop it's probably easier to copy the emoticon from a site like that. if you're on mobile you can just use the ones built into your mobile's keyboard.

i guess i'll leave f@h on idle and hope that i can get some WUs when i'm not on the 'puter.
