While not directly Donald related for once, I've seen a few different MAGA made fanpics of Baron wishing him a happy 18th and saying Baron for president and listing the 1st the 1st year he'll be eligable.

So the MAGA parents who instil how Trump was the greatest ever to their children. And potentially down the road we'll have the JR MAGAs all grown up and their parents praying they get to vote for Baron.

That's wild and seems pretty batshit to me lol. Oddly enough, I haven't seen the same about Don Jr or Eric being potential future presidents. So perhaps there's a limit to even MAGAs tolerance for spewing batshit.

If Baron gets a little independence early he might not turn out to be a racist asshole like his father.

Someone who know’s about selling stock, what is the sequence of events if someone sells a major portion?

If the price is $50/share and someone sells a large portion, do they get $50? Or is there a slight delay allowing for the price to adjust?
The exchange/broker has to find a buyer to match the sell - the sale doesn't go through until an exact one-to-one match is made between a buyer and seller. That $50/share price, on a relatively thinly traded stock, might only be good for 100 or 200 shares, and perhaps a few thousand more shares on limit bids down to perhaps $40-$45, then the bottom falls out unless a major market participant steps in. In this unusual case, opportunistic covering bids by short sellers would probably hoover up a few million of the shares on the way down.

Large block transactions, like Donny selling 100 million shares at once, are usually agreed as a bilateral deal directly with a fund (or billionaire), rather than being placed on the market.

Despite everything I still think Bolton makes a legit point here. As much damage as a second Trump term could do, I still really struggle to envisage him being focused and detail-oriented enough to actually destroy democracy.

John Bolton named what’s missing from Donald Trump when asked if he thinks the former president shared dictator-like characteristics with Julius Caesar.

“He hasn’t got the brains! He’s a property developer, for God’s sake!” Trump’s former national security adviser recently told France’s Le Figaro newspaper in an interview translated by The Telegraph.

Yup if he was actually smart, would be very afraid what he’d accomplish in a revenge tour.

It’s the thousands of people aiming to destroy democracy by using trumps rhetoric and criminal behavior as cover fire that we should be worried about. This is as real as it gets, conservatives aren’t even shy about it now. Project 2025 is inbound unless USA citizens vote for Biden.

Loser Donald sez that having to pay a fine for his crimes is worse than what Jesus went through.

It’s hard to be religious when certain people never get struck by lightning…

What’s he gonna say when he finally gets "nailed" in court?

All it takes is the right lackeys.

Yeah, maybe - but as far as I can see he hasn't done very well so far on that score, either. It's been a caravan of clowns for the most part.

Instigating a dictatorship, perhaps especially by quasi-constitutional means (i.e. if you're not a general with a fleet of tanks behind you) is a demanding task.

He could still do tremendous damage in the attempt though, softening everything up for a later, more competent, guy to finish the job. Not to mention doing huge favours for Putin along the way.

His latest grift is selling Bibles for $59.99.

At some point there is going to be a New Improved MAGA Bible.

From the Trump MAGA Bible:

"Thou shalt kill"
“Thou shalt bear false witness.”
“Thou shalt steal.”
“Thou shalt commit adultery.”
“Thou shalt covet thine own daughter.”

The parts about the sermon on the mount, turning the other cheek, good Samaritan and the other Woke parts will be removed, and there will be a part where Jesus preaches about the 2nd amendment. Plus, a whole new Book of Trump, where he is anointed by God.

“All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book,” - Donald Trump

I have no other words for this utter bullshit

This grift is the same thing as with the basketball shoes and perfume, which are supposed to ship some time in the summer. They are getting money on the front end to manufacture shit latter. Trump already got his money for selling his brand for them to use. If the whole deal goes south, it’s not a problem for him. That’s his business model.

If Jesus had read The Art of the Deal, He would have owned the Christ Resort and Day Spa - Golgotha instead of the resort owning Him.

During Trumps daily Two Minutes of Hate, Loser Donald says he spoke to and consoled the family of a Michigan woman who was murdered by her boyfriend but which he has chosen to blame on immigration.

Her family says he never spoke to any of them and is making the entire conversation up.

I strongly suspect his followers are NOT disappointed with this sort of behavior. Anything that outrages people who value decency, is a delight to his fans. Hell, his supporters will likely start harassing the family that said he didn’t talk to them.

For that matter, can you imagine Trump actually trying to “console” a deceased person’s family? He’d spend 15 minutes telling them how great this is going to be for his campaign, go off on a tangent raging about Biden and the 2020 election and windmills, then autograph a photo of the deceased and tell the grieving family to “have a good time”.

If you can stomach the tangerine terrorists quotes in this article the explanation tracks:

“It’s easiest to understand the threat that Trump poses to American democracy most clearly when you see it for yourself,” Susan B Glasser wrote in the New Yorker. “Small clips of his craziness can be too easily dismissed as the background noise of our times.”

But if you ask Trump himself, these are just examples that Trump is smart, he says.

“The fake news will say, ‘Oh, he goes from subject to subject.’ No, you have to be very smart to do that. You got to be very smart. You know what it is? It’s called spot-checking. You’re thinking about something when you’re talking about something else, and then you get back to the original. And they go, ‘Holy shit. Did you see what he did?’ It’s called intelligence.”

The orange menace misspelled white again.

He apparently included Denmark in the list of "nice" countries, but the only countries I can find with a place named "nice" are France and Turkey. So I guess he doesn't know geography.

Apparently I wasn't the only one to see this.

Yeah, the same people who hate government and clamor for the smallest government possible also now want a monarchy.

We are not a nation of serious people.

I mean I knew that Trump didnt "trust" American IC... But this fucker actively rejected CIA when he took office. What does rejected mean? It means he didnt use the CIA. From the get-go he hired private intelligence and dialed CIA to zero.

Consequence? A-lot of talent has left the agency in protest and disbelief.

HOW MANY FUCKING CLUES YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND HE IS A BAD ACTOR.
