So we're back on our bullshit? (so to speak)
guess transitioning to a new host is something to schedule for daytime work hours - not afterhours, like software upgrades?
Sorry about all this trouble everybody, but I was told that when I do wake from the medically-induced coma this afternoon, you will all be back in place as you were before...well, hopefully.
There's a chance that Boomer will now be a 10 year-old girl and Mayne will have a sudden distaste for weed but his vision will be completely restored to the point where he can actually see through time.
Well do you feel any sudden urges to make a dancing TikTok video?Dude...
Might be good to get into the habit of double-checking with a non-contact voltage detector before you touch the wiringI never said it was a PC? I was working with what I thought was non live wiring on my house. My mobile doesn't get good reception where I'm at and I needed to use the landline to call someone. The chat went on for longer than I'd planned and I lost trackof what I had to do after going and doing other things. A careless mistake.
I could blame it on getting older but I did something similar at the last home I owned in 2017 when I stuck a tool into place of what I assumed was a shut off mains. That one was punchy and caused me to fall down onto my back. It's nothing like being thrown several meters like in film. Maybe a more powerful current would be needed. I was sitting on the floor with this one and saw the spark before I felt and tasted it. Given my health issues last year I thought I'd go to hospital to have myself checked out in case something was amiss. In my youth I did a paid apprentice with a good electrician who taught me enough to do basic home rewiring and wiring stuff up. I wasn't poking blindly.
And this weekend I was cooking and forgot to turn off the heat before I added a specific ingredient that will cause a terrible boilover. I spent the rest of the day cleaning crud off my stove and floor. It could be worse, it could have been a gas stove.
BRB, gonna convert to Christianity real quick so I can pray like hell that the answer is "no".Well do you feel any sudden urges to make a dancing TikTok video?
as a matter of fact I have one that works. I'll be using it from now on, double checking and possibly running an old school device on a nearby line that can only be turned off by unplugging to be on the safe side.Might be good to get into the habit of double-checking with a non-contact voltage detector before you touch the wiring

Apologies. But, to clarify, are you disappointed with your new role, or that Mayne has retained his previous persona?
I did my 3 hour radio show in the afternoon after spending 4 hours editing station spots.Forums down for 5 hours. How will you cope?
Yeah, I don't know what's going on, but things look and act different and I have yet to experience anything at the forums since early in the week that I think is an improvement. Things I could count on before aren't working as I expect.Okay, having lived with it for a day, I can honestly say that the Similar Threads feature sucks dogs' balls. I checked preferences and there appears to be no way to deactivate it.
