Hi Guys, My brother is suffering from Type 2 Diabetes, can you help me find the fruits that he can have with Diabetes? Also, any help on reducing his HbA1C levels?
The greener apples with a tangier taste (due to mallic acid) are better than the sweeter red variety. Mallic acid is beneficial for the liver and helpful in getting energy production going.apples.
Evidence has strongly proven that malic acid can help mitigate pain associated with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It is more effective when taken along with magnesium. This acid also enhances tolerance to exercise, improve muscle endurance and stamina, thereby helps to ease chronic fatigue syndrome.
Amazing job! What's your weekly diet like?I am type 2 and got my A1c down from 9.5 to 6.1 by eating sensibly.
Breakfast is a cup of zero sugar yogurt, grapefruit, and a slice or two of Schmidt's 647 multigrain or wheat toast. When in season I'll have fresh fruit. It's just my wife and myself, so we go out most days for lupper/linner. I'll get a salad with some protein, or a sandwich without the bread. A hearty soup is always good. For snacks I'll have some fruit, nuts or cheese. I don't feel that I am sacrificing anything and I can find plenty of things to eat on a menu.Amazing job! What's your weekly diet like?
Cut down the meals you have to one or two a day.My doctor thinks that I'm "just fine" with A1C between 6.4 and 6.7. I'm on Metformin. I've been having a banana in the morning with my Cheerios and pecans. Once in a while, I can't help myself: I want that Panda Express honey-walnut shrimp and the sticky white rice.
For pasta, I have a supply of it made from spinach, carrots and other ingredients that are not flour. It's been months; I should prepare my Rigatoni pasta Bolognese.
Yeah, going hungry feels good for a change. Your body is actually thankful to you for doing that coz it doesn't have to worry about foreign substances entering the bloodstream so it gives millions of cells respite. It's also a great challenge to yourself to see how long you can survive without food.Cut down the meals you have to one or two a day.
