I won't be pre-ordering but I'm interested in the campaign so I will get it on PC. A friend of mine is getting it on PS5 so he's been trying to get me to buy it on console. That's neat but at that point I would rather be at my desk than on a couch and trying to figure out how to situate a mouse and keyboard. Pretty sure the new cod has cross play. I don't technically play a lot of multiplayer either. I usually get to level 50 or whatever and then play the campaign and call it done after that.

I haven't seen anyone specify platform. I think it's required for the account.Are they doing that on console also? I can sort of understand PC as the account creation is far less robust than it is on console.

With God of war, Callisto protocol, and dead space coming in the next couple months i dont see myself sticking to cod much longer.
Yeah but I'd wait it out. Lots of people are requesting refunds because the game crashes or refuses to run.I forgot this was out. I guess it's also $70 on PC? I'm actually off today so I should go check it out. Usually they say the campaigns are meh.
I think there are a few titles that are not on PC but this is getting less and less common for Xbox titles. I actually sold my series x to a friend because what I was playing is on PC anyway and I honestly would rather play on PC with higher settings using my Xbox controller than on the series x.best thing about xbox for me is the Xbox Play anywhere feature. Lot's of new and old games have it. Tinykin, Persona 5 royal and Yazuka series just to name a few.
I can play these titles on xbox and on PC natively.

Yikes.This suit is just bizarre. Latest development (pulled from resetera):
FTC: " Microsoft assured the European Commission ("EC") during its antitrust review of the ZeniMax purchase that Microsoft would not have the incentive to withhold ZeniMax titles from rival consoles. But, shortly after the EC cleared the transaction, Microsoft made public its decision to make several of the newly acquired ZeniMax titles, including Starfield, Redfall, and Elder Scrolls VI, Microsoft exclusives."
EC: "Microsoft didn't make any commitments to EU regulators not to release Xbox-exclusive content following its takeover of ZeniMax Media."
The CMA has published provisional findings in its investigation into the Microsoft and Activision deal and found that it “could result in higher prices, fewer choices, or less innovation for UK gamers.” The CMA has offered up possible remedies that include Microsoft being forced to sell off Activision Blizzard’s business associated with Call of Duty.
If Microsoft can't acquire Activision-Blizzard without COD, I doubt they'll go through with it.

Ugh Bethesda announced Starfield would be 4k30 on Series X, no 60 fps mode. And no way that's actual 4k if there is no 60 fps mode at lower resolution. Planned on playing on PC but if Series X can't do 1440p60 that makes we doubt my 6700 XT will be able to either. Still looks like an amazing game.
