DEAD - Top Loading NES clone for $25.95 shipped

OK, so after lurking here forever I finally decided to join in. Go easy on me, I did a search and haven't seen this posted elsewhere so here it is:

NES Clone

It comes with 2 controllers and A/V cables, uses standard NES games and controllers, no adapters needed. Not bad for $17.95 + $8.00 shipping.

Mixed reseller ratings though, seem slow to ship.

Wow. I took every possible precaution to not get tore up on my first post, and yet it still happened. Let's see:

Search for previous post -- CHECK
Get a decent Subject heading and description -- CHECK
Get a working hyperlink with no referral -- CHECK
Spelling? -- CHECK

Get flamed by a Diamond Member on my first post -- CHECK

Bring out the welcome wagon.

I have no affiliation with these people. For crying out loud, I even said their reseller rating isn't the best.

Maybe they need to add a new forum rule:

Your first post shouldn't be a hot deal because everyone will think you're affiliated with the company offering the deal.

I can see how his thread title may have seemed like an advertisement, but if you actually read his post, you'd see that he just wanted to share a hot deal with us.

Anyway, thanks for the post sintaxera. I'd get one if I could find my NES cartridges.

Geez people chill. Not everyone who first joins and posts a deal is some moocher looking for hits.

I've heard of this thing by the way. Neat idea but I don't even dare try to find my NES carts. Pretty awesome price considering if you were to buy the classic NES elsewhere, I'm sure they'd want more than $18 for it. (don't take my word for it though)

Well for the original NES I'm sure you could find it for under $18 seeing as they're still very abundant. The 2nd gen one that was made by Nintendo (which is also top loading) is probably a little more pricey since not many sold.

Which brings me to a question: is this thing legally being produced? That is, is it properly licensed with Nintendo or whatever is required?

The top loading second generation one you're talking about is usually expensive on e-bay and only has RF out. This is a great option for those who want nostalgia on the cheap, with a system that won't give a blinking screen and has A/V connections.

Of course theirs is out of stock, and needs an adapter to play US games. They have pics of controllers, A/V ports and power ports, etc. I doubt it's licensed, but it may be legally produced, since it doesn't contain any copyrighted games. Believe it or not the same company actually won the right to make this:

Oh, I had no idea they sold for pretty cheap. I was pretty sure people were charging premiums for nostalgia
