I bought the PS3 copy of Portal 2 when it came out. It had a Steam code that I neglected to add. Two or three years later, I try to activate the code and it doesn't work because the service designed to accept it (some sort of collaboration between Valve and Sony) had been shut down. It was a frickin' Steam code yet Steam wasn't accepting it. I complained to their support. Their short reply was, the offer is no longer available. They are lucky that I'm not Superman. I would have walked into their HQ and would have come out either with Portal 2 in my library or their HQ in shambles.
It mentions PS5 so it's not that old. I thought maybe you bought it five years ago.
Is there anything worth buying PSVR 2 for other than the specs? Still a hard sell without Half Life Alyx.I really want to see if Sony shows off any new PSVR2 games that aren't just shovelware crap like what is basically all they have for it right now.

For me, spiderman looks like more of the same. Same city, same gameplay loop, just a facelift and minor changes. Not really interested that much.I didn't watch it but so far I have heard of spiderman 2 being the next big game for the PS5. We've had some decent games for it but a lot of the other titles I felt were mostly remasters.
Have there been any solid rumors on a launch date for a PS5 pro? I never did get either console because it was impossible to around launch without paying scalper prices and now it feels like it's a little too close to that point in the lifecycle of the console to get the base model when there's a "pro" version likely to be released within a year or so.
I haven't heard anything about a pro model. I imagine they would have announced something at the last PlayStation event.

Yeah that is a good point.Give people a reason to buy the existing DE, I guess. Perhaps they will cut the no drive Slim price to $399 once the supply dries out.

Very lame that they are no longer including the vertical stand. Other aspects will need to wait to see teardown and comparisons.
