This sounds like the media because they want to attract eyes to show ads to. Making money is all there is. He who dies with the most toys wins. Civic duty is a luxury media companies can't afford. All I know is that Trump can make a trial last a century but can't last more than a few minutes in bed. What really bothers me about this case is house the media is portraying it as a hush money case instead of a fraud case. The fact that he slept with a porn star and paid to shut her up or keep the story quiet is irrelevant to the charges and the media is doing a real disservice by portraying it as anything but a fraud case.

As @Brovane explained, not campaign funds. The 34 felony counts are basically over falsifying his business records; the "hush money" payment itself is legal. As far as violating campaign finance laws, that would be up to the FEC to determine but they are feckless in the U.S. It doesn't make much sense for the Manhattan D.A. to prosecute over federal campaign finance violations, and I'm not aware that they are trying.

The GA case is dead. It's unlikely that the GA court of appeals will hand down a decision on Willis until next year.
The FL case is suspended indefinitely, likely dead. Jack Smith fucked up. Witness intimidation. Mishandling evidence. Lots of fuckups on his part. Not to mention he might not even be legally appointed to prosecute the case in the first place.
The DC case is waiting for SCOTUS to render its decision on presidential immunity. It was a speech given while president so likely also dead, but we'll see. Plus if it's found that Smith wasn't legally appointed to the FL case, then he wasn't legally appointed to this one either.
So that leaves the NDA case in NY.

tl;dr - An attorney said in a news interview that he had a conversation about the Trump trial with the judge, in which he gave the judge some advice about the case. The judge apparently never cut the conversation short. He was fully engaged. This is a huge fuckup if true. Judges are under the same rules as jurors in that they are not allowed to discuss the case outside the courtroom with parties who are not directly associated with the case. The judge is now under investigation by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
"But he was wholly uninfluenced!" Doesn't matter. The fact that he had the conversation is what counts.

Trump lawyer Necheles and Daniels back and forth over who and what she meant by “orange turd” is hilarious and Trump just sitting there with no choice but to take it has got to be killing him. Daniels ability to think quickly on her feet appears to be quite good. I suspect that a lot of people, because of her profession, assume that she’s stupid. She clearly isn’t and seems fully capable of out-playing Necheles.

The back and forth pretty much lays out what a fucking moron Necheles appears to be. It is clear all of these lawyers are making fools of themselves, presumably because they are letting DTJ dictate their line of questioning that has been reported as so.
Necheles is a somewhat attractive older woman. But she’s not conventionally pretty in the way Trump likes his women to be. But while Trump would probably have preferred Alina Habba to be his attack dog here, his other lawyers probably told him that if that is the case he might as well just report directly to jail right now. So Necheles is part of Trump’s legal team, but we can see he clearly does not like her. She is not his “type”. Whenever Trump entourage leaves the courtroom, she is always at the back and out of his sight line. He is probably furious that he has to be defended by a woman who is not attractive enough, and hopefully she can perceive this coming off of Trump in waves, in addition to the body odor, shitty diaper stink, makeup and musky cologne fumes and ketchup scent. Why did she draw out a discussion about “the orange turd”? Maybe because she knows exactly who that refers to and it’s one way she can get some passive-aggressive revenge on him while he just has to sit there and take it.
I would’ve loved a bizarro Col. Jessup moment to have unfolded....
